Stralink is great, especially in AZ and out west....Take it back east where there is a ton of greenery and trees, just one tree branch and it takes out starlink..... We stayed at a campground in Boone NC that was wooded and the month we were there Starlink was a boat anchor. It does have an achilles heel.

Thank you so much for your great video's. I'm sitting here on my couch in my Class C. I pulled up my temporary floor planks to roll out some wool padding that will also keep it warmer for my footsies. I'm 68. Feeling it today. Couldn't get the floor done in one day. Because of my 2 knee replacements, I can't get down on my knees so these types of tasks with the floor take me longer. I will probably have to sleep on the couch tonight. My bed is covered with stuff I had to clear off the floor to pull all the planks. I can't wait to get over to Quartzsite! I live in Sultan, WA but rented that out for a steal of a deal to help out a family in need with 4 young children. I asked God for a family to help and they fell into my lap. God's amazing! I am now in my sons driveway in Lancaster CA till I get my RV done renovating. My dear fantastic husband passed in Feb of this year. We were supposed to sell our place and start living this way. So upsetting he's gone, but I still need to make this move. The property at home is just too much for me to take care of. (2.3 acres). I love my new home in my Class C so much. It's just beautiful in here. Even installed wainscoting on all the walls with the chair rails. Wow... looks like an apartment and not a Class C. Can't wait till this flooring is done (should be tomorrow) cause then I can finally set up my 6' long butcher block table that will run under the window where the dinette set used to be before I ripped it out. Your video's are so soothing to watch and listen to. I love em lots! Hopefully I can meet up with you out on the road to say hi. Be safe out there and keep bringing out these really great video's.

I've visited there a couple of times when I went to Lake Havasu, just passing through from Phoenix and this year...I am super excited to FINALLY be able to come down and stay for a bit in my very first van! I plan on heading there at the end of January for the big shabang! lol I do have one question...where do you think a newbie should boondock? I kinda want to have my own space but also be with everyone at the same time lol...what area do you recommend? Or if anyone else has a suggestion? I know most people are friendly but I also know most people want their own space or maybe even just to be left alone. I just don't want to go down there and never really hang out or talk to anyone...I want to know other van lifers!

Hey Russ, happy Sunday! Starlink and portable power stations...the best thing to happen to RV youtubers eh? The "golf course" reminds me of the first time I went to Borrego Springs and saw the "driving range" there. It was basically just a shed and some astroturf mats that faced an open field filled with cactus, mesquite bushes and a couple of scrawny palm trees. 🙂 Gringos--how is their food? Being in southern Arizona it seems a little strange to be "importing" Mexican food all the way from Montana. By the way, if you're headed for Vegas, how about a visit to the Neon Museum, the Mob Museum or maybe the Atomic Testing Museum? Until next time, happy trails!

I stayed in the same campsite for a month last time I was there. I left camp every single day to spend some time in town, and once a week went to Parker, or took a couple of days to go to Yuma, Mexico, or Kingman. My camp was not touched while I was gone at any time. I did have some fairly close "neighbors" but I think the fact that they were there kept my campsite safe while I was gone. Of course, I kept my more expensive high value items in my van with me, and left a small tent as "place keeper" while I was gone for a couple hours a day.
