Those old bikes were amazing machines. Even more amazing is the fact that most of them have "total loss" oiling systems. If they aren't leaking, then they are dry! Those guys rode those 100-year-old machines across the country@ 😉👍 --QM

And I did hear the part of the video where you were talking about the oil and I thought to myself well they’re 100 years old. What are you expect and then I was thinking of myself. Oh wait a minute we environmentalist people are like pooping their pants right now because of the loss of oil.

Aftermarket exhaust was necessary to clear the hitch on the trailer a pretty bike comprise for sure.

I'm always considering downsizing my fleet of bikes, but I haven't devoted the time to preparing them for sale. I'm a mechanical perfectionist, so I hate selling anything that isn't as close to 100% as possible... it just feels like passing my problems to someone else. If I had to sell everything right now and only keep one bike, then the 2014 Honda CB500X would be the last bike standing. The Super Cub would be hard to lose as well... I really enjoy that machine. The only "dream bike" that I can think of would be the Honda X-ADV 750, but I don't think we'll ever see that one here in the States. I'm planning to get the new NT1100 if/when it shows up in the USA... that might replace my CB500X. I'll probably thin the herd this year and get back down to ~10 bikes because my current load of 24 is just too many... don't have enough time or butts to ride that many bikes. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
