The first village we visited was Dauphin, a small village of around 800 inhabitants in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France.
We went up to the church at the top of the hill. It was windy and the hill was steep, but it was worth the effort to see the beautiful view from the top. I was also pleased to see lots of beautiful wisteria flowers.
We then visited La Bastide des Jourdans, a village of around 1,400 inhabitants in the Vaucluse department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
We met lots of lovely cats. I think it's the village where we met the most cats of all the villages we visited.
