Richi Carter, he was without question, the greatest frontman, to grace the pitch at Wembley Stadium, in 1985, when Queen stole Live Aid, also it was sad when Queen stopped all their big concerts, just a few months later, in 1986, after Knebworth Park, before Freddie got his AIDS diagnosis. It was very, very sadder, when we lost Freddie Mercury, on 24th November, 1991, from AIDS, aged just 45, and John Deacon retired in 1997, in my humble opinion.

bikkey balami, I like how Brian May, gets the audience to sing with him. Not only that, he is a great guy. I love how says, "Let's have some house lights on, here", and Freddie Mercury starts to sing. That's truly a remarkable tribute, from a remarkable guy. Thank you, Brian, you are THE greatest guitar technician ever, in my humble opinion.

i was there in Birmingham on the front row, it was an emotional day for me who never saw Queen live and never had a chance to see Freddie. when he sang that bit on the screen i wept because i was glad to finally hear his voice and mostly because i said "sorry Freddie, better later than never".

Queen will always have a special place in my heart, Brian May, Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor and John Deacon are apart of my childhood and are still making it. I can't imagine a world without their songs, I aspire to be as great as Brian May in guitar and maybe an amazing singer. These guys will ALWAYS be in my mind and you can see it in Brian that he is trying so hard not to cry, he's lost someone so dear to him.

I’ve been a queen fan since I was small. I just saw the movie and I learned so much about the legend himself, Freddie. I would’ve loved to be born earlier to experience him. Watching this video (and the movie) made me cry so hard. After he figured out he had AIDS, he didn’t stop believing and kept singing until his final days.

Just got back from watching Bohemian Rhapsody and now re-watching this has made me so emotional. Freddie died a couple of years before I was born, but I grew up surrounded by his music and invested in his life & his legacy. (Thank you Dad 🙏🏻) I obviously never had the privilege of experiencing his impact during his lifetime 😔. Thus, I never imagined I’d see the band live so that concert felt like a privilege. I could finally experience even an ounce of the joy their music with a crowd brought & perhaps best of all, the cheer as Freddie appears on screen. I’ve only been able to imagine through watching Freddie clips, so to experience the joy of the crowd when he appeared on the big screen was special. As for the film, it brings his story to life so beautifully, sensitively and emotionally. (Rami Malek does a fantastic job) This song’s origin is explored in the film, and they show a moment where a crowd sings it back to Freddie and he is just blown away. Much like Brian is here. Now as i watch this back, it’s as if I appreciate the song in a new light. I finally get it. How Freddie felt when he wrote it. And now the way Brian sings this ; mourning the loss of his friend. “Hurry back. Don’t take him away from me because you don’t know what he means to me!” 😭
