The soundtrack is literally classical renditions of modern Mainstream songs. I would really recommend watching the first season it does not have the feel of a historical drama of any sort. You will take it for what it is and enjoy it.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind at all! I personally am no fan of secondary plots, and in Bridgerton I always wished they would just keep them to a minimum, but since this is a spinoff and we already know so many characters it would be more than fitting to see their younger versions! The only thing is, both Lady Danbury and Violet are widows so that would mean three sad stories (including the queen, and if there's Featherington though she didn't really love her husband that's four)...I'm noticing a trend hahaha Why do all of these husbands die before their wives?
