I canoed up Head River to Victoria Lake a couple of days ago. The water levels are very high this year and I am planning to do another route in the park this month. Thank you so much for documenting your routes!

There are park wardens that cruise around fishog lake, they came to our campsite and told us that the sites across the lake were closed due to a bear sitting! They told us its not crown land, its the Queensland lol congrats to 20 years!

This would be a perfect video if only you described where you left your car & how you got started. Brian nearing 76

@@TheOneCanoe Can you just kinda camp wherever? Or are there designated camping spots? And where to park? I want to go out for a week, maybe camp a few spots and get into some good fishing.

QE II Wildlands is a non-operating Provincial Park, so there are no public facilities or services, however in recent years park rangers have posted and signed designated campsites and portage trails throughout the park. Camping and fires are permitted on these designated sites and are free to use (non-reservable) and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is parking in the NE part of the park at the end of Devil'd Lake Road (at the Ganaraska Trail), and I think some limited parking at the municipal boat launch at the south end of Head Lake. Check out the Ontario Parks website for more information.
