About 10 years ago I was on holiday in Spain and we were sitting having a coffee, a little Spanish girl about 6 or 7 yrs old was with her parents who were chatting away next to us and she was singing " I want tit tall, I want tit tall, over and over, my two teenage boys, both at the same time un prompted suddenly sang out loud, "and I want it now" .....her face just the surprise then joy, these two big boys joining in, we couldn't speak Spanish she couldn't speak English but in that little moment Queen brought us together

Freddie had a beard because of the scars of AIDS treatments. He was sick here, feeling pain, but still had energy to give us amazing vocals. That's why he is a true Legend, the best of the best, darling

I don't know about the beard part but I know he was in a lot of pain and not well when he did this video. He obviously had a lot of guts. He put in a magnificent performance.

The beard part is true if you read Jim Hutton’s book he told Freddie to grow it out bc he was so worried about people seeing his marks 😢

Yeah, I HATE when commercials use iconic hooks, etc. in their commercials- “Like a Rock” by Bob Seger is a prime example too.. His song “Like a Rock” was used in a truck commercial.. now whenever I hear the song, the dang trucks is all I see or can think of... 🤎🤍✌️✨

Freddie was showing signs of illness by this point. You can tell by not only covering up his face with the beard but also his clothing covering his skin. Hiding the "spots" Still giving HIS ALL!

This song was used in the Grubhub commercials for a while. Brian May is not only a wizard on the guitar, and a poet with lyrics, but has a beautiful singing voice! He sang lead for someday one day, sail away sweet sister, leaving home ain't easy, sleeping on the sidewalk, all dead, all dead, partial vocals for "Who wants to live forever", Long away, She makes me (stormtroopers in stilettos), Good Company, the final verse for Mother Love, and space folk ballad "'39", which I give my highest recommendation. Brian also has wonderful solo work and these days, alongside Love of my life, he also sings Teo Toriatte. He also guest plays with other artists as well.

Supposedly Brian May was torn between his wife and his lover ( who became his second wife ) and this phrase" I want it all!" was a paraphrase of what his lover admitted to him..I want it all.

Who Wants to Live Forever. Wembley is great, Budapest is better. Break Thru. Liar and Stone Cold Crazy. In The Lap of the Gods (live at the Rainbow) and In the Lap of the Gods revisited (live at Hammersmith) I know you’ve done a fair bit of Queen but you haven’t even scratched the surface yet. Keep it coming

At this point Freddie was pretty sick I mean it’s easily seen but he had a hard time even standing due to a wound that never healed but he even near the end was still so amazing so much courage and strength he had ♥️

He is very sick here..notice he is not really moving his feet...part of one foot was gone and was painful to stand on it...also he had cancerous sores all over his bodyand therefore dressed to cover ot up..also clothing baggy because he lost so much weight..BUT doesn't interfer with his passion and voice!!!

Freddie was very ill at this point in his life..note his voice is very raspy! He said he would do "his fucking best" when they shot this video, even though he was sick. Will never be another Freddie Mercury!!!
