I love how there’s a subtle rivalry between Geoff’s Baron and the other three death spirits-Baron is clearly above them. They shoot each other jealous looks when he takes a solo, and when they interrupt him he looks like he’s putting up with misbehaving children and makes a point of directing the “no time for losers” line at them. Also when Earl comes back into his own, Baron faces him as an equal, where the others cringe and cower. Edit: wow, I had no idea this would get so many likes, thanks guys.

Ok I might be going out on a limb here but i think that Baron is trying to get Earl to live, while the others are trying to convince him to die. Thats why its Baron against the three others. And at the end where Earl makes them diappear the three are scared because they know that Baron has won Earl over because Earl remembers that he has something/someone to live for. Its basically a battle field for Earl's soul!

This could have been just a standard medley but instead it's a neat little drama, about one man fighting for his life against four agents of the afterlife so he can rejoin his beloved. Well done. The singing of course is amazing, but the costumes and makeup get kudos as well. Layne looks so good in his fur coat and with his sword. Like---wow. [And someone please get Geoff a cape so he can be a vampire in a future video.]

Soo... I have to tell you guys something. I found this video and watched it the first time, and I was thrilled. Then I watched it a second time, and then a third time. Then, after half an hour I watched it a fourth time. And somehow in every watchthrough I recognized more things. Of course, I think, as everyone would do, I was focused on Geoff the most at the beginning, but in the plays afterwards I recognized the harmonies of the others, everybodies costumes, their gestures, their facial expressions, I started to make up theories - and the longer I watched, the more details I found! The way all of those Queen song's were blended together was flawless. Almost like VoicePlay had originally wrote the music for Queen, I know VoicePlay had to arrange the different song's together it was all so smooth nothing was a rough transition from one song to the next. I actually watched just to see if they could do as good of a job that they did. No disappointment at all almost sounded like Queen had written the song mix themselves.

So I might be going out on a limb here, but hear me out. So Geoff is Baron in this video. I’m not sure which Baron they intended for him to represent, but I’m going to say it’s Baron Samedi. Baron Samedi is from Haitian Vodou, and he not only is responsible for people being brought into the underworld, but can bring life into people he believes deserve to stay alive. It’s believed that he could bring a person back to life even if they were on the brink of death. Maybe that’s why Geoff is the last one that “disappears” before Earl comes back to life. Also notice that Geoff is the only one that doesn’t seem scared of being poofed away. Almost like he has decided Earl shouldn’t die. 🧐 I might be completely wrong on this, but it’s something to think about 😂

Look at the comment section and you will see every name mentioned because they all killed it and each one has a part that challenges and fits them as a singer!
