We are queenie and we are a part of the huge queen army that just keeps getting bigger every day. You have bin bitten by the queen bug and you will be in the queen universe forever. Not a bad place to be. R.i.P FREDDIE!!

thanks for checking this out! If you want to see the band playing at their best you should check out their Rock N Roll Medley live at Earls Court 1977. They do a medley covering some of their fav songs. Its really amazing.

One of my favorite compositions written by Sir Brian May!! It was his idea to treat the song as a three-act theatrical play, and the verses are called “acts” in the lyric sheet. The lyrics describe a love affair that is ending. Or as some have speculated, Brian finding himself “stuck between a rock and a hard place”!! Love Freddie’s vocals & Brian’s guitar work!! Great song!! 🎶

This is without doubt the best song on The News Of The World album. One of my absolute favourite. Queen songs. 40 years of being a Queen fan and the first band I started listening to. Rest is history as they say lol.

"Let the waters take our guilt in the tide" One of Brian's best lines, from one of his best songs. If fact, I think he owns News of the World.

So good. A definite favorite to long time fans. Amazing album in general. Sadly no video performance of this one exists. A number of great audio only versions, personal fave is Detroit 77. A number of really great performances from that show. Great for the car.

Another great reaction. I can’t remember if you did Save Me in Montreal or not. Queen just makes me happy, such a great band, Roger kills it on this.

Yes - such a "Brian song".. but with Freddie vocals.. as Brian once said.. "at some point we all agreed that everything sounded better when Freddie sang it..." not entirely true, b/c both Brian and Roger were very talented singers.. as I'm sure you've discovered.. appreciate your reaction...

It was released as a single but was only a minor hit. It should have been a major hit. It’s one of their best.

I do love Brian's songs and this is a really great one. The lyrics are quite difficult and most of Brian's songs are about things that are going on in his personal life. He married his first wife a little before this song was released so it sets the mind to wandering. There is a lot of gossip about how he was conducting himself at that time (all all of the members of the band, actually) and about infidelity while he was living with the woman who would become his first wife and even throughout his marriage and future relationships, but who really ever knows if anything in the tabloids is true at all. Either way, the lyrics are certainly food for thought. Thank you for your reaction, this is an excellent song.
