This particular performance of "Somebody to Love" is simply one of the greatest live performances that you will ever see. They were on fire that night.

in 2016 scientific study (prof Christian Herbst) confirms, Freddie had an unparalleled singing voice. His vocal range F2-F6 (4 octaves) but that what makes his voice so special was extremely fast vibrato 7.04 Hz and subharmonics. He was able to create several more layers of harmonics than anyone else. Freddie was using a subharmonics by vibrating his ventricular folds, a technique usually found only in Tuvan throat One of the conclusions from the studies was that"He was vibrating something in his throat that even Pavarotti couldn't move".

I don't know if you're being serious here or not but it reminds me very much of Professor Keating's first day at Welton Academy (Dead Poets Society) wherein he ridicules Dr. J. Evans Pritchard's insistence that measuring a poem's "greatness" can be done by plotting its "perfection" on the x-axis and its "importance" on the y and then calculating the total area (the larger, the greater). That's only a movie, of course, but the point is valid. We don't judge artistic expression via scientific measurements. Art, by its very nature, is subjective...not objective.

It is refreshing to see an honest reaction as you both allow the music to wash over and through you without pausing to provide needless comment. Too many Queen "reaction" videos appear rehearsed with comments almost identical to other vloggers. You have it right...listen and enjoy, your smiles and natural reaction is all that is needed.

Great reaction! You should definitely check out more live performances from Queen, they were great live. A great live performance is White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Queen has loads of songs that are far heavier, check out Princes Of The Universe.

Did you know that the lead singer, Freddie Mercury, while based in Britain with his fellow band members, was Parsi-Indian (Persian Zoroastrians who fled to India after the Arab conquest of the Persian Empire). His real name was Farrokh Bulsara. He is widely considered one of the best, if not THE best English-speaking male singer of the 20th Century.
