The vet is absolutely right, laser therapy is very efficacious in animals and humans. Lots of vets & doctors are using laser these days 👍

Everything about Uniek makes her look so wise. The way she stands, how she's interested but not panicky about stuff, the way she moves her ears around like radar. How she accepts being examined and having Dieuke run around under her feet. What a lady. Quite the queen!

Uniek 👑has still got what it takes and loves nothing more than a good canter. Bauke is funny but Oda is definitely not in the lower Rankin's. Did Mathilde enjoy her quick shower courtesy of Uniek. As ever the ponies are wonderful. So much joy and sunshine. 💕💕🐎🇬🇧

Do Friesians age more rapidly due to their size? I've had Walkers, Quarter Horses, and Fox Trotters, and most lived until their 30's being ridden into their lat 20's. Uniek is a Queen in every sense of the word. Regal, beautiful, and intelligent. May she stay healthy and happy for many more years.

I’m so thankful that Queen Uniek is doing well! The veterinary clinic is beautiful and the vet & his staff is top notch! Again, we see how well-trained & calm Uniek is in a strange environment. She automatically goes into “statue mode.”’(Her lineage is also known for this trait.) How well she remembers how to lunge! She also has Yvonne with her. We can see how loving Freesian horses are with people they trust! Thank you to Yvonne and the vet clinic for sharing this video with us! ❤❤❤ To the worldwide herd, many of us know, as pet owners, that the cost of care increases as our animals become seniors. This is so interesting. I've often wondered what a vet appointment for a horse would look like. The Queen was so calm. I think she knows she is loved and well cared for. That vet facility is top notch. I was really impressed with their setup and how they treat the animals in their care. The Queen is doing great and she surveyed her domain and let the peasants touch and handle her royal person. Your going to need to setup a designated bath station soon. I noticed that before but today more obvious. I say this cause they still need baths during winter and the rains. Thanks to all who donate its really cool to see how everyth8ng is working out.

Awe, beautiful sweet Uniek. It's scary when Vet Don was explaining about the laser treatments and her tendons filling with scar tissue. Getting older isn't fun, is it?!! But the Queen is regal and beautiful, well loved and cared for. She will be ok!! At least her Osteoarthritis is in check!! Overall Uniek is very healthy thank God! I am in my 70es and have osteoarthritis, believe me when I say that it is no fun and it will destroy your joints and tendons, I had 2 hips replaced because of it and my knees are going the same direction. My hands are killing me and I had to give up crocheting which was something I loved to do, no matter what I take trying to make it better, it doesn’t work but I keep on moving and walking. I feel for Unieke, she is beautiful and sweet, I wish for her the very best of health so she can enjoy her senior years and I know Yvonne is taking exceptional good care of her and loves Unieke as we all do 🥰❤️🐴🙏🏻

Yvonne, you're the best for taking such good care of Uniek. She's a Queen, and you're treating her like one with love. I'm hoping she'll live to be thirty or forty years old. It does happen as long as she is comfortable and happy. She has such a beautiful bond with you. I love seeing that it brightens my day. It's just amazing how the proper Veterinary care can help all our animals live longer and a better life for a longer time with us. What a relief to know that this beauty is doing so well her arthritis is in a good spot hasn’t gotten worse yay for a good pain management plan it’s absolutely the best feeling ever when you find something that works both for us humans who have to manage our pain levels and when it comes to our dear 4 legged friends Uniek is such a champion and she has the best human who would go to the end of the world for her to get her anything she needs love you both!!🩷🩷

Uniek is so calm, and was so good for the x-rays.. but she did not like when your started the hose 😂. I think she is what people call your heart horse ❤

That is quite the vet clinic, the different rings to walk in, ultrasound & xray rooms. I'm glad she checked out well for 17. When she got home she kept looking around like she was looking for her love interest Bjarni. When she got out into the pasture everyone came to greet her & check her out. 😍👍

Ha Ha Bauke is a comedian! I'm so happy that Uniek is doing so well "for her age"! (I hear this at the doctor also...) Uniek took the vets visit in her stride , she is so calm and relaxed bless her ❤ Since the updated PayPal I cannot even buy my parrot food through them so have to phone direct these days ! Hopefully maybe crowd funding might be a good way to raise the money for Unieks treatment Yvonne ! Oh Queen Uniek, I know how it feels to get older and having issues with joints and tendons. But you are still a beautiful and magnificent horse. Yvonne, I love how Oda, mathilde and others from Stal G come to help you out like one big family. And of course, Yvonne goes to help out at Stal G. Everyone looks healthy and happy. 🥰😘

Uniek has never been overweight but she looks like she's lost some weight? Maybe it was just the picture in the trailer? She's an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, MAGNIFICENT QUEEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE!!
