The untitled "hidden" track from Made In Heaven constructed from the framework of It's A Beautiful Day, and perhaps the only way to get this track on vinyl. The original LP from 1995 had the five songs on the A-side left their intended length, and three songs cut short to fit on the record (like Innuendo), this track being excluded (included on the CD, but not listed), aside from the first few seconds, which was carved into the run-off groove on the B-side after the "12th" track Yeah, the closing lyric of track 11 Beautiful Day Reprise. It would play indefinitely if the user didn't have an automatic stop enabled, a bit of an Easter egg in a way. So too, this double-LP release holds true to this little feature, on the C-side's run-off, again, after Yeah. This track takes up the whole of the D-side, listed only as "13". Made In Heaven is the only album to harbor both the shortest, and longest Queen songs, and in succession. The 2015 vinyl collection boxset has this album pressed in semi-transparent blue vinyl for the first disc, and clear vinyl for the second. It also uses the CD cover artwork for the outside of the gatefold cover, and the original vinyl artwork on the inside. This standalone release does the opposite.
Recorded from an Audio-Technica Sound Burger AT-SB727, into a TCTEC digital voice recorder, with a regular headphone cable going in the microphone input. The left audio channel comes out quieter than the right, and was boosted in post by opening two mono tracks, and assigning a channel to each one. A correction was then applied to move the left and right channels to their respective positions using the panning tool in the Fairlight tab. Edited in Black Magic Davinci Resolve.
