I had a lot of trouble with the Latin parts, so feel free to post other suggestions belong; just please remember that I won't re-upload this video unless it's a significant mis-translation. And as always, this song belongs to Powerwolf and Napalm Records, I make no profit, and only want to spread the love of foreign music. Please enjoy! :)

from 0:48-1:10 (and the other part like it), the first lines of the verses are in Latin. I guess that's just a common theme in their songs.

Metalleon 24 Quite a bit of Powerwolf is also Latin, conveniently...opposites in their natures, but both helped create English

@@YTDariuS-my6dg I don't know how to write specific german accents, or what they even sound like, so that part'll propably be left to the reader's imagination. i'm still drafting the plot. Deus Vult I got into this band because of a guy friend of mine. I felt so inspired and empowered by “Stossgebet”, my favorite song of them all. Such a dirty song in its lyrics; I love it! Too bad that it took liking a dude before I was aware of the beauty of this band; my best friend (a girl) tried to introduce me to it, but I had no Venus venom to bring me to my senses lmao

@@ElviretDarkshade what matters is that you're now here I guess lol. yeah stossgebet is such a dirty song but its really powerful and different like I dont know about others but whenever I hear it I always feel something in my gut, something within me. Also something I really like about most of their songs is that the lyrics sound like an actual prayer, that's it until you hear the song and see the translations lmao

I really like Powerwolf, but knowing the lyrics of this this song makes me depressed. "Cross fire burning in the night" makes me think of the KKK. Then again, Powerwolf does lightly poke fun at religious traditions sometimes so maybe the line "God has brought us this delusion" is them poking fun at the KKK for their absurd ideology.

Their Latin is flawed. Do not despair! You have already put in more effort than I would have in translating their music. Things seemed good when I was following along.

nah the translation is not really good. flaws in latin and german parts. eg. "brenne in der nacht" is burn in the night not burning and "sei entfacht" is be kindled. thats things even google translate can do better.

I typed in google translate from English to German "Lead us while in temptation" and got "Führe uns in Versuchung." I then put in "Führe uns in Versuchung" from German to English translation and got "lead us into temptation." Can it mean either then?

ok translation but not great EDIT english dossen't have the translation of kreuzfeuer so it just becomes cross fire but it seems wrong to me for some reason

Crossfire has to do with guns shooting, I've read in the comments that the correct translation would be "cross on fire". Which makes more sense, really.
