Heat gun- I use mine to quickly dry paint, soften the glue to dismantle furniture and quickly cure polymer clay without an oven. Gets a lot hotter than a hair dryer.

Learn how to make miniature coffee cups/mugs with simple everyday items. I used paper, paperclips, and yarn. No printer or technology needed! Decorating the mugs was a lot of fun.
1:24 scale- Cut the strip of paper at 9mm wide. I wrapped a bamboo skewer with cardstock wrapped around it once and taped to make the inside diameter of the mug bigger. I think an extra wrap or two of the paper would make the mugs more in scale (bigger inside diameter).
1:12 scale- 3/8" wide strip
1:6 scale (Barbie, Blythe or Fashion doll)- 3/4" wide strip. Inside diameter of 1/2". I used a thick paintbrush.
I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures, furniture makeovers, accessories, kits and Dollhouse Miniatures in multiple scales. I also have a large Harry Potter build planned for 1" scale.

Absolutely! All you need is some paper, glue, string or a paper clip, and nail polish or paint.

The paper curls and behaves better because bending the paper as you did breaks the bonds of the paper. It gives the flexibility to wrap around something and not leave the large ridges you sometimes get when wrapping paper and it has less tendency to rip.

These would look great in a corner coffee shop or bakery! ❤ I saw a good hack this week on a video. They suggested using masking tape to wrap around little things like paper clips when you cut them, so they are less likely to go flying.

you can also do the clip inside a plastic paint water cup. it will zing around, and it stays in the cup.

Same here. I have some 1:12 mugs that look great but they're too big. They'd be the equivalent of 9" tall. These look better because they're in scale.

Sometimes when our bodies fail us but our minds don’t having the correct tools can make all the difference, I could suggest some if you would like to persevere at this very rewarding hobby. Ps we all hate our own work and constantly improve, I feel confident that you are doing far better than you think after all just because you watch a video of someone driving or building a house does not mean you can immediately go out and achieve that same level of success and experience. Please realise the imperfections are what makes it unique, handmade and more importantly yours, no one knew your intentions they only see the beauty in the results and hardly ever the ‘errors’ if you don’t point them out x

Thank you so much! You can make pretty much anything from scratch for your dollhouse. I have found many pieces of trash outside and collected them for making minis. Cute cups. I have 2 suggestions. First, when you clip something, try holding it in a ziploc bag so the scrap end doesn’t go flying. Second, when I want to paint with Testors I just use the end of a toothpick to spread it. Because of the texture of the paint it flows easily off the tip of the toothpick and dries smooth. When I’m done I just toss the toothpick. Since I’ve only done this with metallic paints I’m not positive it will work as well with regular enamel but you can try it.

Thanks for the tips! I switched from using my own brushed to the cheap plastic bristle brush that came in the kit and it works well. I'll try the toothpick method for smaller items. As for cutting things and letting them fly, I'll straighten up my act going forward ☺️

Thank you so much for that side by side comparison between dimensional magic and diamond glaze. It was easier to see the effect here, rather than on Ara's glass blocks (it almost looked etched). After watching a previous video of yours, I bought the dimensional magic, but once I use that up I will try the diamond glaze. Thanks!!!!

You could also soak the string or yarn in candle wax(your choice of color) and while it's wet, coil it up, then once dry, you can cut it in half to make a mug handle on each coil, and if you're feeling extra fancy, you could use a candle wax that has a fragrance so your mug can smell good, i.e., hot chocolate, sugar cookie, peppermint etc. Thank you for the upload. 💜💋✌️🤝✨️

You are so welcome. I own some 1:12 scale ceramic mugs and they're too big. These are more in scale. They look great on a shelf, counter or table.

Amei! Muito bom.❤ Mas no lugar do fio que vc passou cola para fazer de alça, ficaria mais fácil e simples usar um pedaço de arame galvanizado, enrolar e cortar fazendo a alça. Assim não seria necessário endurecer com cola e não ficaria fiapo do fio. Grata por compartilhar! Deus abençoe abundantemente vc e sua família! ❤🙌

I like to avoid using wire bc then you have to use super glue to attach it. My super glue always hardens in the bottle so I can't use it all.
