Fascino is an obd 2 level hybrid scooter by yamaha.It has two varients disc and drum.The outlook/design is pretty slick and classic.Fascino comes in a variety of colour options-The drum varient gets 6 colour options namely vivid red,yellow cocktail,cyan blue, metallic black,cool blue metallic and dark matte blue and the disc varient get additional 3 colour options other than the drum.The disc varient get an led head lamp while the drum comes with a normal halogen headlamp likewise the cool look v shaped led taillamp only present in Disc.Also digital cluster and y connect is only present in disc model and drum model gets an analogue cluster.
The front and back tyre profiles are 90/90-12 and 110/90-10 respectively.Fascino is equipped with Unified braking system for increased braking efficiency.It has telescopic fork suspension in the front and unit swing in the rear.
The vehicle weighs 99 kg only.Thus giving better handling.The ground clearance is 145mm and has a wheelbase of 1280mm..The seat height is about 780 mm that is 5mm shorter than Ray.The underseat storage space has a capacity of 21ltr. And it is where the fuel filling lid is located.It has E20 fuel compatible which is aimed for lesser pollution.The fuel tank has a capacity of 5.2ltr.
The SMG-Smart motor generator helps for a quieter engine start.The vehicle also has side stand engine cut off as a safety feature.The automatic stop and start system automatically cut off the engine and prevent idling .This helps to reduce fuel consumption.Then the engine starts with a single throttle twist without any lag.The ARAI certified mileage of the vehicle is 68.75km.
Fascino Fi is powered by a 125cc blue core engine. It produces 8.2ps power @6500rpm and a torque of 10.3nm @5000rpm.
