Billy and Ian go over their pick ups from the recent Queens Comic Party show in Brooklyn, showing off a rare Dave Stevens fanzine offering, some golden age goodness including a sweet E.C. book, some of Frank Thorne's sexier work, some vintage Ditko Captain Atom books and then some of Ian's dollar bin digging, including a few Richard Corben oddities, some Boneyard Press horror and a few Tim Vigil books.

Another great episode! I started grabbing Frank Miller and Dave Stevens covers about a year and a half ago. ICONIC covers of my youth. I grabbed the last Stevens covers I needed at last years Brooklyn Invasion. Miller was on a tear at Marvel from 1989-81 with dozens of covers. I had bought the Miller Marvel Omni and never realized how many awesome covers he did that got 10-11 year old me to buy them off the newsstand with a limited kid income. Great Micronauts and Hulk covers. Big fan of his recent Uncle Scrooge cover. Looks like he had fun with that and his new devolved style suits “funny animals” perfectly

I've got mixed feelings on the Uncle Scrooge one, haha. Agreed on Miller's 80s stuff though! I got lucky in that I was buying Stevens stuff in the 80s and 90s before the explosion, couldn't afford most of them at today's prices!

I love Peach, she has a horror background so she does slip in creepy imagery very often.
