I normally upload test footage with music I want to use on a alternative channel to see whether the KZfaq police will allow or restrict the content. My last video was ok to use and ran for a couple of weeks before it was removed. Thanks for your comment Zed, Atb, Damian.

Electronicpoacher1 Its a small world, so many people who have visited the Guide Post and drank at Queens Head at some point in their lives and have fond memories. We don't really appreciate something until its gone.

+Nik Holmes I didnt drink in Queens very often in the last 3 years before it was pulled down. Used to be in all the time in my younger years

+Nik Holmes yes its a shop, I havent been in yet and I pass it every day. It wouldn't feel right as to me I miss the old pub

Didn't get anything as a souvenir just footage and pictures. The Queens Head building would have stood for another 100 years at least as it wasn't subsiding or anything, its criminal to pull down a perfectly good building when you dont even have the planning permission to build something else

It is my local pub, a focal point where people in the community would get together, I drank for nearly 30 years and have a lot of fond memories.

Amen to that. And look what replaced it a bloody fountain, i often wonder if that is a sick joke in view of the fact that most in that area suffered in the floods they'll have seen enough gushing water to last them a lifetime.

The Queens head got pulled down and they still haven't got planning permission for the shop they wanted to build, its a joke if it wasn't so sad. I never shop in Morpeth because its such a bottle neck getting in and out of the town, the parking charges are forcing people away and Morrisons charges over the top for things you can get much cheaper at Aldi and Lidle... sorry guys I'm in the mood for a right winge lol

Free parking in peth now just get a free permit. Oh and your rite about cheaper shops

goonluv Thanks for the info, I was there the other day and noticed parking charges in Morrisons carpark but there was also a sign pointing towards free parking closer into town. I hate parking in busy towns as I've had tickets for parking where I thought it was ok. You just never know if there is a small sign up saying no parking. Those traffic enforcement officers are on the increase and I've seem them slapping tickets on cars parked on grass verges near Hartford Bank which were no hazzard to anyone, its all about generating revenue from the public. One solution is to boycott those rip off areas or stop prostitutes having anymore babies then there might not be so many traffic wardens in the future
