Use once then destroy
Single servings of pain
A dose of emotion sickness
I just can’t shake
Then my fever broke
No possessions, just your flesh on
See the sights, Holy Braille
Feel as you might
Rip some pieces free
Oh atrocious! ferocious!
Check the price, Alibi bye buy by the slice
Absolutely!
Baby don’t care for me
Had to let her go
Gonna vacuum all the perfume
Hit the lights, keep your shit outta sight
Giving me the creeps
Wanna chew gum, go on, get some
Put up a fight?
Well, let’s have it right now
Baby don’t care for me
Had to let her go
People come & go on the breeze
For a whole life? Possibly
I don’t really know
A flick of the switch
So smooth & clean
How we grow is so painful, believe you me
Then my fever broke
Baby don’t care for me
Had to let her go
People come & go on the breeze
For a whole life? Possibly
I don’t really know

Discovered these guys kinda backwards..remember Songs for the Deaf a bit in the 90’s..addiction took me outta knowing about music and everything else..😂 Was homeless at the time, sitting at a library and Villains cd caught my eye..listened to it and was blown away.. had that disc on repeat for months..👌 In a good place now and have spent the last 2 years delving into absolutely everything QOTSA..what an evolution man of a band... So pumped for this album! Peace all and let’s get down!🤗😂👍👌😝

Thank you for your honesty. I was thinking to myself it was pretty good but it didn't hit me as an instant hit. I'm hoping this isn't the best song on the album. But I still think it's a good song. Better than anything else at the moment. Let's hope the best is yet to come

It's a fine song but I think it feels like a retred of old ground, some segments of the song feel pretty uninspired. Villains may have divided the fan base somewhat but I thought the album stood out as something I've never heard and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I think this just doesn't get me excited but if the album turns out similar I wouldn't be offended by it, I just wouldn't care for it.

Give it 2-3 more listenings, and it will grow. The chorus is something beautiful from the 70's west coast rock, and the rest is pretty much a mix of Era Vulgaris and Them Crooked Vultures.

@@moogleboy This I agree on, Villains & Like Clockwork for me are the two most consistent albums, no a bad track on either. Not saying other albums had bad tracks, but the way I view it is, some tracks on other albums are easily skippable when listening to them, not for these last two albums.
