The album sounds SO much better live!!!!

Welcome to queens of the stone age, all their songs are better LIVE! I recomend the live album live in london they released and you will understand. To be honest, these songs dont translate to live performances as well as there past albums have. Its great, dont get me wrong, but if you want the best you have to go back a few years when they had Joey, Natasha and alain fucking johannes
@rodidy6 жыл бұрын
i say give it a few months and a leg of a tour and these songs will be crisp as fuck live

@@brandonmclean58 love this video, but then I go to the 2005 performance of "I think I lost my headache " and the passion there was different maybe because they where younger.
@CCDaDon154 жыл бұрын
I think too much was done to the drum sound. The cymbals are so low in the mix and the static era vulgaris snare doesn't fit the sound Villains goes for

I will never understand, how someone can say: "this Song sucks". THIS - ladies and gentleman - is a fucking bomb ass song!!!
@brandonmclean586 жыл бұрын
IVe never seen anyone say that, although, as much as I love this song, the last part of the song doesnt seem necessary or add anything to it. Just being critically honest, its an awesome song, up until that kind of punk rock thing they do at the end, I usually just skip that part and I used to love punk and still do at times. Im just not feelin it, it isnt bad, its just ok which is not how the rest of the song is.
@pattonPwr6 жыл бұрын
Brandon Botham agree 100% same here

hahaha damn, that's the part I like the most in this song. I think the combination between the "reggaeton" part and the punk part is just delicious.

I'm not sure QOTSA has ever sounded tighter live than they have playing tracks from this new album. Absolutely fantastic.

Tim Tucker Jon Theodore and Mikey Shoes never skip a beat no matter how complex or draining the music can get. Josh has really got his groove going, too. Live version sounds better than the studio version with help from some excellent mixing...imagine that.
