I think last year they thought they would be announcing All Stars 5 around this time but then decided last minute to have a break from All Stars seasons so they are airing Season 12 instead.

Queens from earlier seasons, like Ongina, are virtually unknown to a lot of the newer audience, so it makes sense that they do what they can to build them up a bit before All-Stars.

Hillary Mcbane It’s because they’ve just isolated the announcer’s voice and took out almost all of the sound. The crowd were a lot more vocal and excited but this video makes it seem that they’re quiet and bored.

Well, I’ve never been to the Uk 🇬🇧 myself but, I’ve watched tours of Madonna or Kylie minogue recorded in London and even though you can hear the crowd cheering, they always look very self-composed, I believe that’s the way brits are, self-composed... if I were there I’d be dancing and waving but I’m not British!

Trust, darlings - every single one of these queens has been brought to the stage by someone that sounds like they took five Valium with a bottle of vodka. This announcer at least sounded alive and hyped every single one of those girls from the crowned queens to the all-but-forgotten.
