Queensland and Central Coast Australia | Sydney | Humpback Whales, Kangaroos, Flying Foxes, etc 🇦🇺

We spent 2.5 months in Australia, starting with Hervey Bay in Queensland, and making our way down the coast to Erina, and finally ending our adventure in Sydney.
We saw so much wildlife... magpies, laughing kookaburras, kangaroos, tasmanian devils, koala, flocks of cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, cane toads, and so much more.
We also visited national parks like Bouddi, and then went on an amazing whale watching tour where we saw humpback whales up close in a very small boat! And an impromptu pelican rescue happened right behind us while we were recording. 😮

Those turkeys you see are called bush turkeys. Black and white birds are Magpies. In spring some males defend their areas when there's chicks there by swooping and chasing people away. Very clever and friendly birds .

Thank you! Did not know about the bush turkeys but we actually saw signs warning people about the Magpies in springtime! We love they way they sound.
