I'm sorry but the fact that Randy is 35 years old he still looks and smiles like the little 'sunshine' teenager he always was in 'Queer as Folk'. And whenever he smiles I can't help but smile also :D I love you, Randy Harrison!!!

I liked so much QaF and as time passed and I got a family and love my husband I learnt to understand and share the feeling of love Justin and Brian felt for each other... they're incredible characters and Justin stole my heart being so sweet and with his smile: my sunshine! It's good to see Randy nowadays and see that he hasn't changed a lot through these years!! Love you Randy-Justin...thanks for QaF!!

Randy is still a cute, funny guy and I hope to meet them all on the next QaF-Convention. I love them all, because their characters on the show are like a family to me and I can't stop watching them on DVD every evening. I need two episodes before I finally go to bed. ^^ I know it sounds stupid and I admit that I'm addicted to QaF, but so what? ^^ That's why I've written a book about Queer as Folk, because they mean so much to me. :-)

Randy. I so disagree with the opinion that somehow Justin needed to be away from Brian to mature. The reason is clear from the maturing shown in the series. Justin went from a sparkly child to a deeply thoughtful, honest and clear man. Their relationship certainly would have matured, had bumps in the learning curve as they came to grips with couple-dom and not becoming boring or dishonest with themselves. They had a real truthful, respectful, and fun relationship. They discussed things with great candor and worked through them. Brian's hurtle in expressing his love was motivated by fear of being hurt and feeling so vulnerable to another person, who saw his soft creamy center. Had Justin not addressed his own issues so fearlessly and grown from that amazingly courageous process, maybe I would feel differently. The only thing I could think of was perhaps there is a separate issue with male response to aging that I'm missing. But Justin isn't shallow in anyway. I don't think he would be concerned that Brian was 60 and he was 48. Brian might worry about Justin's continued attraction to him. But again, Justin was portrayed as an honorable, thoughtful person that could recognize, address and work through an issue with the man he knew so well. Intellectually and emotionally there was no age difference. Justin did not have to give up his dreams to be with Brian and vice versa and in fact with such an easy commute they could easily lived in NY & PA. Not every gay couple in major love stories have to have a sad ending! If any couple had a chance to grow in their relationship together and define it for themselves.

I so agree with your response. My thoughts with the ending were sad and sour. Throughout all 5 Seasons, Justin went from being this young lad who was infatuated with Brian but who also knew what he wanted. He even said to the young lad who he had a one night stand with at Daphne's Party that as soon as he saw Brian, he knew he was the one. Brian in turn, fell for Justin in such a way that even he didn't know what to do with these new found feelings. They were on the same page, on the same wave length and Justin was far beyond his years and could easily keep Brian on his toes. He did things behind Brian's back to help him out on a few occasions and showed his love throughout the entire show. They were soulmates in my opinion and I hated the ending so much. I do believe though, that even with the age gap, these guys could make it all the way and have a happy and successful life together. I can see them seeing each other weekends until Justin finally made a name for himself in NY and then they finally come together for good and settle down in BRITIN...…..just wish they'd revive the show now just to give us the ending we so need.
