When he was doing late night before he got the tonight show, i always thought he was a great interviewer, I think the pressure of the tonight show messed with his charisma and the guests got bigger. He’s definitely heard people’s criticisms of him and I hope he has tried to make a change in the way he interviews people. I’ve always thought he has the potential to be second to only johnny carson, just needs to push past the nerves.

@therandomdot2563
@therandomdot2563 4 жыл бұрын
A lot of times he's trying to "punch up" the guest's banter to make it funny. IE: the audience is there to get some laughs. And, the studio execs have probably told him that if a guest drones on, he needs to interject something "witty" every 10 seconds to keep the audience from losing interest. So, I don't fully blame Jimmy. He's a cog in the wheel of big entertainment ran by execs trying to pander to a lowest-common-denominator audience.

@@chrisd6736 I have not seen it but its about Some people competing in endurance/sleep deprivation to win a truck. they have their hands on it and whoever can have their hand on it longest wins. Seems interesting if you take a look at it

I live next to Sundance and went to the bar there for a drink last year with a friend. Quentin was there having a drink and I got to meet him. He was my favourite director of all time before and this just sealed the deal. He’s like a nerdy sexual teddy bear. Hard to explain. It was easily one of the top moments of my life 🙌🏼
