Fuera del Centro: La fábrica, la Baristeria, Te amo café, Silverio y Área Café...👌☺️🙌 Good luck! Restaurantes clásicos en Querétaro: La Mariposa, Chucho el Roto y 1810. Some of my fave restaurants in Qro: - Toki Sushi, Yakimeshi is amazing - Cervecería Hércules, close to Los Arcos, great for Pizza & Beers - El Fogón del Pastor, my favourite tacos restaurant, seriously, I love that restaurant. - Blume, the owners are close to my family, food is pretty good it's in Jardines de la Hacienda. - Also in Jardines de la Hacienda next to Blume, "Santa Fortuna Bistro", it's a great place for breakfast and coffee.

omg that was the place I worked at time ago haha! love that place, the restaurant is great too! Go to the restaurant and ask for a "chocolatin", it's bread, with chocolate inside, ask them to microwave it a little, that + a giant cup of coffee is heaven. And a hint, if you want a michelada.... go to the exit of the coworking or restaurant, walk to the left, you will see a cantina there, just at the end of the sidewalk. You can bring your drink to that coworking, been there, done that. Also once in a while a guy riding a bicicle visits the coworking place, you need to try his "esquites" (corn).

@@alex-wittman …. I love where I live , except for the traffic. During the 1st year of Covid, this sounds bad, traffic was cut at least in half, now it’s as before and I really see the difference. When I was in Queretaro, I made it a point to drive from Juriquilla across the city to explore twice each day during la hora pico. There were lots of cars but I never really had to slow down. Where I currently live, rush hour doubles the amount of time it takes to go almost anywhere. Plus there is a Costco there!

When you are going to Cancun? Is the Coronavirus under control in Mexico?
@alex-wittman

I don't have any plans to go to Cancun at the moment. The virus seems to be under control in Queretaro, but from what I've read, Quintana Roo is experiencing a spike right now.

Hi there. Any idea of the costs to rent apartments in Alamos?
@alex-wittman
@alex-wittman 3 жыл бұрын
I just did a quick search on Airbnb & saw that a furnished apartment in ElDoce (the building next to La Fabrica) costs around $17,500 MXN to rent for a month. That's about $877 USD.

If you haven't yet, check out this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y9Z4Y9Z7vbXPdmQ.html There are some helpful tips for finding a long term rental via Airbnb. Since you speak Spanish, you could message a host about moving off the platform and saving some money on the various service charges.

Hi Alex, I was visiting Querétaro for the first a week ago and I love it. I’m planning to come back before the end of the year and get a better feel of the suburbans, like Jurica. Since I want to move from LA to Querétaro mid of next year, probably for a year, do you recommend AitBnB or it’s better to rent?

It depends on how long you plan on staying & whether or not you're sure of the are you want to live in. If you're still deciding, I suggest an Airbnb!
