QUEST FOR CAMELOT Clip - "Dragon Chase Scene" (1998)
PLOT: In this animated tale, Kayley (Jessalyn Gilsig) dreams of being one of the Knights of the Round Table; she gets her chance when the fabled sword of Excalibur is lost. Without its power to protect him, King Arthur falls victim to Ruber (Gary Oldman), an evil knight bent on destroying Camelot. Arthur's only hope is that Kayley will find the sword. She gets some invaluable assistance from Merlin's trusty falcon, a dragon with a split personality, and a sweet blindman named Garrett (Cary Elwes).

That because This movie was hated by most animators who worked on it most notably Lauren Faust the creator of my little pony friendship is magic she hated making this film. She admitted that Warner Bros. only wanted profits. Rather than art or entertainment which is main point of animation Faust, whose staunch feminist philosophies are a complete 180 from this film's standards of a strong female character, which movie has done poor job of been particularly brutal to it in the years since. She later admitted that she had no idea what the movie was actually about when she was animating for it and was furious once she saw it. Faust also hated how the animators were rushed to finish the film on time. Along with the other animators, she knew that the film was going to bomb and they were right. In the end, she agreed that the original PG-13 version would be better I can understand and sympathize with to since to me this movie nothing more than Disney clone rather than own movie independent from Disney stuff and also this movie aimed for kids which is only worsen the stereotype stigma and misconception that animation are for kids nonsense

My most favorite movie since childhood and I also agree it deserved a sequel!! ❤ Technically we're the reason cousins never marry 😂 seriously did not get that as a kid

Actually, it makes a lot of sense. I have always wondered why in most legends/media they never cook and eat a dragon after killing it; in the Middle Ages, eating meat was not common for everyone. In fact, in many legends it is said that the people were starving because the dragon was burning the crops, and then a hero kills it and, come on, they literally had plenty of fresh meat before them! Also, the roasting dragon in this movie looked pretty delicious...
