i can't believe there's 30 minute matchup that isn't shaman shudderwock with infinite freeze enemy and healing friendly character 0 mana double battlecry is enough to play 10 shudderwock for 20 shudderwock battlecries before the first shudderwock end his animation. it's only takes around 10 minute / turn and the total average of 5 hours waiting times without the concede button.

I'm playing a lot of taunt druid atm (personal list, even slower / endgame geared than the meta deck) if I don't die by turn 6-7 I usually end up with a hand of +/-2 draw cards I just couldn't fit in during play since I had better things to play and about 6'ish LK cards that where bad at the time, aka. Army of the dead + Doompackt Doompackt usually has it's uses as a final boardclear/Hadronax trigger once you're in fatigue, Army on the other hand ... well, sucks if you get 3+ of them lets just say
@caleb27304 жыл бұрын
I mean technically, pyromancer into call of arms is one damage to everything on board.
@gildeddrake14796 жыл бұрын
toast against warlock. warlock has drawn all his deck, played everything. then he plays gul'dan, gets a full board. toast holds 2 equality 1 consecration and one pyro: "Do I equality there ?" yeah, you do toast. you hold one to them 30 minutes just for this moment. you have 2 of them. you aren't going to need them anymore. you play it.
@erich13806 жыл бұрын
Gilded Drake he tries to appear to be making deep critical decisions for some of the easiest turns possible. It's pretty annoying
@0Pompeius06 жыл бұрын
See and the fact he is asking himself that kind of questions even though it might seem obvious is the reason he can easily play in high legend. I mean obviously its the right play here, but asking yourself first before playing is incredibly important in a lot of situations. I also believe almost no player wouldve hold those equalities for such a long time.
@erich13806 жыл бұрын
i disagree i mean you know guldan is the only life threatning wave of minions there. the lock mostly only had voidlords so theres really no pressure there
@0Pompeius06 жыл бұрын
What exactly do you disagree with? My point was that he basicly considered but then hold equality for at least 4 turns after 12:30 Also Toast is not playing with the mentality "Do i have to hold this for something else?" but with the mentality "Do i need to play this or can i safe it?" Doesnt make much difference in some situations but like i said, often times thats the difference between a decent and a great player. Ill add that a lot of those lists used to run Nzoth, so its possible that hes just in the habbit of holding everything as long as possible against warlock specificly. After watching the game again im pretty sure, he was just trying to figure out if he needs to save it for something else, before using it. Did you realize how he kept track of every single card his opponent played/hold? I believe hes just thinking about a lot of stuff and takes a little bit longer to figure obvious things out. I have been in the situation where i made a quick "easy" play, leaned back and was like: "Yup, thats game :)" Then my opponent dropped his last big threat and i was like "Wait - how the fuck did i forget about that?!" Im sure most of us have been sloppy like this more then once and i would argue toast is just trying to avoid it here - its ofc possible that you are correct anyways and hes just making a show
@JinFreeks6 жыл бұрын
he's also playing this game for 6-8 hours a day, every day while you see *a* 30 minute game he has to keep mental notes about everything all the time, erase them, make new once etc. it's very easy to forget what happened so he has to do a lot of mental juggling which you as a watcher don't need to do since you see one game, not a whole session of play do agree that a lot of time I wished Toast, and others for that matter, would just play the obvious best play and move on but I understand that the current turn is most of the time not what they're thinking about when they take 80 seconds to play *a* card and pass

I have been running a similar set(odemon's),however I have had different experiences vs cubelock and the games I played typically end up with me dying to fatigue because I out drew my opponent or couldn't play my lyra/harison jones because I would take too much in fatigue. Should I play my agressive cards and risk being burnt by a twisting neather or siphon soul or vodoo doll?

@ITanmanI6 жыл бұрын
this deck is great in the current meta for a lot of reasons. For one your opponent is most likely gonna set up their opening hand for even or odd paladin, so you can screw their entire early game over. Also not a lot of people know what is run in this deck so after they clear your galvadons they start playing recklessly thinking you have no more threats. when you hit them with a late game lynessa they start panicking and looking for an anser

How come Harrison Jones was destroyed in the vanish?
@stucktj6 жыл бұрын
in hearthstone cards are affected by effects in the order the cards were played not their position on the board. also with vanish when the owners hand is full any remaining minions on the board are destroyed. Since Lynessa and Zola were played before any of the other cards and there were only two spots left in his hand those two cards went back into his hand and the other minions were destroyed.
