I'm a full time mom and wouldn't change a thing. I'm 48 with an 8yr old and cannot work due to back and feet issues. Her father sees her 1 time a week if that and never calls her. So I applaud you for being a great dad :)

This is going to maybe sound weird but whatever: watching you is like watching my dad when he was younger. I didn’t grow up with him because my parents got a divorce when I was really young. He was a tall guy, 6’5”, born and raised in California, he loved the Giants and the A’s, and he was soft spoken like you. It’s funny how we pick people to watch based on certain things, and for you it’s the reselling obviously, and also some sort of familiarity. You and I are probably around the same age, but you do remind me of my dad when he was younger.

I went to a yard sale and didn't find anything. It was a family selling their brother's stuff that had passed away. I got tamales for breakfast from them to help, and they were good. I ate them about a hour later as I was driving.

That dinosaur plush at 6:55 was really cool, my son would of loved that one. Not surprised you are doing this on more of a full time basis. You are really the most knowledgeable person I have seen doing it. There are people that are good at one or two types of things, but you can find value in everything from clothes, shoes, blankets, electronics, video games, toys, sports equipment, your knowledge just never ends.

You looked so relaxed sitting in the chair Matt. It was funny in a way. I took a fall that I really didn’t need to do on 12/28. Screwed up my rt knee. Hit my right shoulder blade , upper neck , ear but no head damage. All Ex rays ok. I did bust my left arm and broke the wrist. I’m in a rehab facility getting over this. What a mess. Your adventures are helping me deal with life. Thanks.

I was a "stay at home Dad" for a few yrs until my son turned 5 then I worked from home 3-4 days a week. It gets busy, especially w/3 kids but worth every minute. Happy new yr to you and the kids.

Hey Matt, I thought you were going to crash in the chair you bought.... but the last time you sat down, your eyes were crossing man, you were beat. I hope you aren't coming down with anything. I hear you on the bottles. There's just the two of us and I can hardly keep ahead of the water bottles. But we committed last year to not buying water and we gave up paper plates. I am the dishwasher! But a basket of small bamboo plates in the prep area by the toaster and next to the fridge made it easy. And for in home use a couple jugs of cold water and those 88cent bottles from Walmart fit the skinny tray on the bottom of the fridge door.

I was laughing when you were taking the chair for a "test drive" because you zoned out for a few seconds. Being a stay at home parent is one of THE MOST rewarding YET unbelievably exhausting jobs. I love finding stuff I need (like an office chair) just as much as I like buying to resell. It’s my favorite part of this lifestyle. Side note I miss See’s Candies. It was a huge part of my life but they don’t have them where I live now. I miss fresh tamales out of the back of a car too.

The water bottle you bought that said subzero about 15 years ago aluminum water bottles were the craze and these were sold at Walgreens for 3.50. I was reselling them 3 for 39.99 plus 8.50 shipping. They had black , red and blue.

Amazing videos recently, my daughter and I started reselling over the Summer, just part time since I work full-time, we had a blast, made a lot of money, avoided a lot of mistakes on what not to get, checking sold comps etc. We are looking forward to getting back into it this Summer. Hi Matt! Much nicer day to be out thrifting thankfully no rain 👍🏼🌧️ I did want to point out that around 6:48 into the video I noticed another Giants mascot with the shirt on but not sure if was another build a Bear one but was a giants plushy mascot for sure, it was underneath all the other plush on top shelve, just in case you go back and want check if still there? Also if you’re ever in Santa Cruz again check out the Thrift store on water st. It’s called Thrift Center and every Thursday the Store is everything 50% off!🙌 Also very nice of you to have gave the Tamales sales man a tip🥰 my mom makes tamales 🫔 all the time she’s actually known for them lol 😊 so I know the hard work that gets put in to them when making them. Thx again for the video 👍🏼😊

I just hit that San Jose Goodwill last weekend and I bought two of those sealed heirloom invitations sets from that store as well, just going to hang on to them for now, bought them blindly because they were so cheap
