The third and final part of the DVD "Imperial Grand Strategy" ends with "Questions About Anarchism," an interview with anarchist historian Barry Pateman of the Emma Goldman Archives.
In a more relaxed and personal exchange, Chomsky discusses the anarchist principles that have guided him since he was a teenager and that lie behind the social and political analysis he's been producing for the last four decades.

35.45 Chomsky- " just beating the shit out of them"😂, I didn't expect him to say this at a all, why do we rarely hear Chomsky's comedic side anymore? If you didn't know already, Chomsky was a part time comedian in his early days! Yes, I know because it shocked me too and put a grin on my face😀! I hear he was hilarious!

A very adequate use of "most good". "Best" wouldn't convey the right meaning. I agree completely.

English is my second language and I can not make the name of the Argentinean anarchist Chomsky mentioned at 0:38. He went on to explain he wrote a detailed critique of the Anarchist Movement during the Spanish Civil war in 1936 . I cannot understand Chomsky's pronunciation of his name. I would appreciate if anybody writes it. Thanks!

+Edward Murdoch I found it. If anybody needs it, the name is Diego Abad Santillán; and the name of the book is After the Revolution. If you google it, you can read the whole text.

31:30 Exactly, always remember we produce enormous amounts of wealth, the problem is how it's distributed and the power systems involved 46:20 Material conditions of people affect their abilities to inform themselves, think and share their inquiries with others and act on them. This is a huge reason why accelerationism is bad in 99.9% of the time and why we should seek reforms in order to increase the likelyhood of revolution.

love his work, but can`t help taking his definition on "outsourcing" as suggestive. transferring jobs isn`t always related to price for every business. maybe for corporations, but not in general.

Intelligence bores dullards. It's no surprise you find him boring. Also I like how you learned a few big words and end up becoming exactly what you accuse Chomsky of being. You are a psuedo-intellectual. You use big words but have nothing to say. Couldn't even refute anything he says. Just attack his character. Also why you even watching then?
