Mubarak on getting home. I would love to do this journey and would consider a VW Passat AllTrack from Germany - fairly affordable and spacious... or a Skoda Superb for the space (family of 5) and with a roofbox/roof tent.

Great to see have reached home safely ❤ DPF issue is not related to one bad fuel station. If you can find someone in Islamabad with VCDS, get it scanned and see what sort of soot level you have in DPF. It might be much cheaper to get DPF cleaned in Pakistan if you can find a good diesel mechanic. Pls make sure to replace fuel filter. That will help with lower fuel quality.
