The Government of India needs to spend some money and help these poor people with some Basic Necessities of life. A simple metal bridge would get these Villagers across the river and some heavy equipment to move the logs around to the areas where they need them. How do they heat their homes in winter, there does not seem to be much wood available to burn.?

A cow is a natural swimmer. When it finds that the strong flow does not allow it to swim across it goes with the flow and gets ashore to take the bridge..

Of course they have stress . Life always involves struggle of one kind or another . In this case there would be stress about food supply , injury , absence of doctors , vicious winters , etc etc etc . Different stress for different lifestyles. It all looks very romantic from a distance .
