@@DaForgottenGentlemanfalse, they’re completely different. 4a is looser curls and 4c is way tighter, sometimes to the point it doesn’t necessarily curl. All 4c hair looks different too, density, porosity, etc plays a part

Wanted to ask, do you use shampoo first or conditioner? And if you use shampoo first, do you proceed to rinse it immediately or wait a bit then rinse and after that use conditioner? I've never actually known how to properly wash my hair.

It heavily depends on the products you use & your hair porosity!! Ideally if you use a good shampoo, moisturizer, and detangling brush, it should last about a week with proper protection. (Satin bonnet, satin scarf, etc) You would just wash, moisturize + detangle (detangle with conditioner before hand if you prefer) weekly. A basic shampoo I recommend is natures advantage aloe shampoo. And a moisturizer I recommend is crème of nature mango & shea leave in conditioner. Pink hair lotion is also a good, generic moisturizer. Hope this helps!!

Just look at a hair texture graphs and see which one matches your hair texture

The products you should use depends on your porosity. If you didn’t know your porosity, it’s good to start with a water based leave in product or non oil heavy leave in product & an occlusive like hair grease or a hair serum after. Just make sure to use it on damp hair for proper absorption + a good detangling brush for the best results!

if your scalp gets dry, follow the shampoo up with a hair mask or deep conditioner it helps. then condition hair not the scalp

along with deep conditioning + using a leave-in conditioner, consider changing ur Shampoo to one that's less stripping
