I like this pattern because of the way you made it without a deep point. I usually don’t like ponchos because of the point in the front. This is a pattern that I’m going to try. Thank you for sharing this pattern. 💜🙏🏻

That’s a good thing to learn to do increasing in every second row. I do find especially if you are on the short side the regular ponchos are to long in the front! Thanks Crystal this sounds like the best pattern for me. 😊

Hi Crystal! After waiting so long to receive my Lion Brand order last month, I've so been hunting patterns. My 2 granddaughters who live here never got their Christmas ponchos. This is exactly what I wanted for them! Not too long in the front but a bit longer in the arms. They are 7 and 9 years old. Finally, I am anxious to get them started now! Thanks, Crystal, for pulling out this perfect pattern! 💝

That's awesome Crystal, like all the other short people who don't like most ponchos because they are too long one way and too short the other, I can't wait to make this one. It will be perfect for days like this one, mid summer that feels like mid winter.

This is absolutely awesome. Beautiful colors and love the size, since I'm 5' 3" . Just a short, stocky 73yr old lady. Stay safe and keep the tutorials coming. Thank you so much. Just a note -- I got started on the mixed cluster stitch and made quite a number of dish rags for Christmas gifts. Love that patten so much, so easy peasy.. The people that didn't get them last year will be getting them Christmas 2023 . ♥️🧶👍✅️🧶♥️🥰

The color pattern is wonderful. I never noticed before but I think I haven't considered ponchos because of the longer point, so I'm actually thinking about it now. The color pattern looks like roses all over. So pretty.

I really like this pattern. The V stitch is one of the first ones I learned Many years ago, and shells are my favourite border. Then Miss Crystal, having the sides longer is terrific. Thanks so much

Still working on this poncho. For a new crocheter its a bit more confusing but SO PRETTY so far! The increase every other row gave me a few bad moments but I finally figured out what to do. Thanks Crystal!

I had gotten several different cars of the Caron crystal cakes a few months back and have been looking for a ponch project to use them. Im starting this poncho tonight with the crystal cake in the color peacock. I know its gonna be absolutely stunning and ill have enough left for a scarf pr maybe some fingerless glove.
