Jody, I am wtiting while watching you craft with pinecones (off your own tree lucky you). I watched a youtube video from Alaska and a young mom and her sweet husband craft with large long pinecones, they create a precious 🐧 penguin. They go to a forest of pine trees just down a dirt road and pick them off the ground and mulch. She shows how she washes them, then dries them in the oven. Once made by the entire family she stores them away for their towns(extremely teeny tiny town) Christmas Bazaar held in the elementary school cafeteria if I remember right. They charge $10 booth rental which is basically tables set up with tablecloths, very basic with handmade homespun items. A huge crowd comes, all the kids sell the items and give change or barter with other booths. She made quite a few and every single one of them sold. Everything is marked low prices so all the townspeople can afford to bring home a treasure. What a fantastic story. The booth money goes to the school for the craft class supplies and she said most familes selling really need the income for daily living. She uses some of her profits to order more supplies. The pinecone ornaments turned out so beautiful Jody!😍 I love all the little pieces of various items around the pinecones!😘 The red bows are so pretty!🎀 The glitter ribbon is a pain to use!😋 Sometimes I'll just use floral wire or twist ties around the middle to scrunch the bow together.😉 I love all the little items you can get at DT to use in so many decorations!☺️ I actually picked up some picks at DT and I've been taking them apart and using the individual items on different crafts. Some have the pinecones as well as flowers and greenery sprigs. I'm using a lot of poinsettias this year and I've found so many beautiful ones! From the traditional red to white, silver, gold and even pink. But I always love watching you while I craft because you are so inspirational!🤩 Your ideas are simple but the outcome is always incredible! You make me want to be a better crafter!😚 Thanks for sharing another great video!🥰

I love all you do. I stopped using the dollar tree glue sticks. After using the gorilla glue ones, i fould the DT ones produce so many more webs. They are pricerer but worth it to cut down on the stringy webs.
