you can create trap like this one and place the food inside the squire shape when birds come for food it will automatically trap in this snare trap but keep in mind the weight of the plank must be at least 1kg

Yeah but then you get tiny string around its feet that will need to be removed or it will cause damage, the bird could lose toes, and that may cause fatal bleeding.

Lucky here in Australia they are a pest and the idea is to catch and kill. Great kit will be implementing and culling as many of the bastards as I can
