Unbelievable, I hope you guys are making $$$ doing these videos. Its saving me tons. Keep up the good work. God bless all you who do these videos. Just purchase a 753 Bobcat and it needs plenty of repairs. but cheaper than purchasing a new one.

There is a grease zirk for the locking pin. Grease it periodically and it will help. The Grease zirk is hard to find, it's there!

Great video, thanks, I can see all the parts I am working with now. My problem is I can't even move the big attachment pins and can't get the bucket off to knock the roll pin through. I will see. Thanks!

Paul, Check to see if your lever handles are bent and biting in... That is first... also, you may have debris between the bucket and attachment plate to the point where a maul ( hand sledge hammer) might be required to move the levers and then lift the bucket and pound the pins up from underneath. Let us know what you come up with brother. -Shane

@@AHandleOnThings Shane, thanks for responding. I have tried to move the levers with a 3 foot pipe (to pull the pins out, like they are designed to be used, but with a force multiplier), I tried to pound the pins from below. I am going to try and disassemble down to the pins tomorrow and then knock the pins down, easier to hit from above than below, I think. Not sure if I can knock those "roll" pins through with the bucket on. You aren't saying I can remove the bucket with those 1 inch wedged pins in there still, are you? Then pound them out, with the bucket out of the way? Sorry about taking up your time, thanks!

Paul, If you are all froze up like you are describing, I would pull the nut (on top of the spring) that holds the handle in place and then remove the handle...the handles should pretty easily pop straight out and off (hammer taps and/or a prybar will certainly help) . There will be some spring tension to work around while popping the handles off so don't get pinched. At that point you should easily be able to bang the locking pins up from the bottom with a hammer. Just make sure you don't let the bucket fall on top of you when you do it. After the bucket is off and you are all disassembled, you will be able to see what the build back will require. Its all pretty straight forward. -Shane

I have a new farmtrac that latch came loose while using front laoder and it warped the quick attach..ive managed to get it back close to where it needs to be by using a tree and some force to bend it back straight with each side however im still unable to lock both sides in,,i only use front loader bucket and use no other front attchments so i was thinking of drilling a hole on both sides and basically put a bolt thorugh qucik attach connections and bucket and make it like a pin on type deal,,any better ideas,,looked for a replacement quick attch aftermarket but onyl ones i see are 1200 and up,,the 250 ones dont have 4 holes needed to attach to my tractor

A locking pin sounds like a reasonable temporary solution to me brother. Without being there personally I would say you are probably on the right track! LEt us know how it turns out! -Shane

If you dump a little used motor oil on those parts ever couple weeks you will never have to do this again. Pour it on and work your lever and get oil down the pin.

Don't bother taking the other side apart just old motor oil and save your time.
