This video was a huge help to me just now! Turns out my attack box was just messed up because my output was nothing like yours, so I reset my room and everything worked but then I got lost at base64 decode and didn't think to hit the "hint", then I didn't realize the encode changed to decode. It basically felt like my first day here at THM all over again.

This is the best walk-through. little did I know that I was suppose to cat the simon username into a file. I was struggling for hours. I did not understand it and I did not see that in the directions for some reason. I was very irritated, but then I found shauna and I was saved!
