In our latest Quick Bites webinar Will Hutton, political economist, best-selling author and broadcast journalist discussed what issues will be top of the agenda for the next government with Food Foundation Executive Director Anna Taylor.
His 50-year year career spans a period in the City as an investment banker, the Economics editorship of the Guardian and BBC2 Newsnight, the editorship of the Observer, the chief executive of the Work Foundation and Principal of Hertford College Oxford.
Mr Hutton has written six major books on political economy. His latest one This Time No Mistakes: How to Remake Britain has recently been released on paperback and contrasts Harold MacMillan and Henry Dimbleby's political approach to nutrition and food in the UK.
