i bought both manga at a huge difference price.
tr media costs me like RM11 (around 2-3 usd) per manga
viz media costs me RM66 (around 14-15 usd) per manga

for your information, the purpose of this video is to make a comparison between two manga that is licensed and unlicensed with no intention to promote unofficial or unlicensed manga.
i understand not all people could afford the official manga since it could be quite pricey at some countries. bare in mind that if you love and appreciate the author, then please buy legitimate merchandise or manga to support them.

Actually for me is better to buy the official one . I mean I'm broke but yeah I really want to support the author . I know not everyone can afford spend RM 40+ just to buy a manga but try your best to saving and buy the original ( sorry for my bad English 😭 )

I went to Kinokuniya yesterday and I was in a rush so I got two Gotoubun No Hanayome manga for RM103 for both. I was scared since this is the first time I bought the manga. But after saw your other comment, I guess I can relax. 😌

hii.. the thing i i bought jjk0 manga today and it seems abit different from the other ones i have . It isnt a tr manga but there is a viz symbol on the side of it and sj symbol but the cover print is a bit moved to the side is it fake or real?? the images inside seemed a bit blurry like the black ink was a bit blurry..would glady appreciate if u reply:)

Original manga can be imperfect, just like any other book it can have minor defect caused by technical issues or the way it was managed on the shipment, if it has viz media and SJ on it's side and back, it's still original.

@@kurumi1383Apparently there is a new fake manga which also print with the SJ and VIZ logo. To see the difference between the real VIZ and fake VIZ is that the quality of the manga's paper, real VIZ don't have see through problem while the fake has. Another way to identify real and fake is the book spine, the fake manga usually have logo print overlapping. Plus the thickness of the book is another way to identify real and fake, real one are much thicker compare to the fake one.

Like i got spy x family 1 and 2 for the same full price which is the legit price and it has the viz and sj logo and are printed all the way but i am little scared cause spy x family vol.2 is a bit lighter than the first 1 is it normal can someone who has vol 1 and 2 confirm that for me pls

It is normal for physical manga to have different weight moreover they're not the same volume right? Physical manga is in physical form so it's normal to sense the weight difference. This also can be caused by the chapter difference by referring to different arcs in the series. This also happened to my Haikyuu manga of Viz series. Hope this answer helps.

I've been reading some tr Media manga and to be honest i like them more the Colors are way darker the only thing that isn't cool about tr Media is the size it's way smaller

Personally, I don't really recommend buying unlicensed manga since you can find many of it online (can't deny it) and can be a waste of money even though it's cheap, you can just collect it to buy a legit manga. Afterall, it's up to you^^ but if you want to really collect manga, I recommend buying the legit ones.

You can find a lot of official manga in bookstore such as Kinokuniya in Malaysia or order it online at Shopee. Shopee does have it nowadays! Just don't forget to ask the seller first about the manga classification. ☺️

What’s the point of buying fake manga? You’re not supporting the author. Might as well just read the pirated copy online. No difference.

@@KouuDesu It IS fake manga. TR media is stealing the work of these mangaka and printing it and selling it without paying any royalties at all to the creator. That’s counterfeit/imitation goods and it’s fake and illegal. To you maybe there’s not much difference in quality but at least realise that what you are doing by buying fake manga is hurting the creator and helping these illegal companies profit more. The very least you could do is just read it pirated online, at least these trash companies do not profit from your sales. And if you want to support the author just slowly save up and buy when you can.

@@KouuDesu How come still got fake Adidas/Nike/other branded goods, pirated movies/manga/anime/anything until now? You can find these fakes goods even in physical shops and big online shopping platforms. Same thing. TR Media is 100% fake and they aren’t the only ones. There’s also other illegal printing companies. If you want to find out the officially licensed company just google the manga name and English license and you can see who is real.

@@KouuDesu I thought it’s obvious from my reply? You can buy any type of fake goods in the market because it’s impossible to ban all of them. Piracy will always exist. TR Media manga is fake, that’s a fact not an opinion. But if you only care about what’s readable and don’t care about hurting the author then just keep buying their fake stuff if you want.
