Its one economic option…

Only heat the side the peg goes into - not both sides

Lots of heat, a flat screwdriver and patience…. If it’s like the Superman 1000 it’s just glued down. Two pegs at the front, two pegs at the back…it’s deep set… it’s can take 30min or more with damage to exterior….best to just repaint the neck. You’ll need to re-glue the neck area and allow it to dry before adding the cape

Use a hairdryer on the shoulder joint for a few minutes- it should loosen the ratchets… if that will not work-- submerge into hot water for 5min…. One of the two methods will loosen the ratchet… Be patient….

You would need to fill with Apoxie and resculpt… let dry in the sun 6 hours and reassemble…you may have to make more than one attempt

I usually just heat the peg and pinch it with pliers gently while then running cold water over it

I dont have Gothom Knights Nightwing…but the infected Superman had a larger neck … you’ll need to measure both… that Nightwing may be too small

Requires more heat -- the feet will come off … carefully when pulling soft plastic …. Use pliers to get a good grip… gently tug and turn….

It depends on the design used on the figure.. .. they vary

A very good question…. While I don’t have that line, I won’t the answer. I do however have some older DC figures and they extremely difficult to pull apart because the plastic becomes brittle.. you heat the joints and on some it works ok and bother joints you break them… it’s a risk - you need to decide

@@InkDropCustoms The arms keep breaking on my sons figures so I trying to fix them. The Limbs are very different so I’m unsure as to if you can just pull them apart. Also as you said the plastic seems different clear and brittle.

@@action993 on many DC figures - they aren’t meant to be pulled apart… very few can come apart without breaking…. It’s hard to say which are worse than others

An old video All figures have pins you just don’t see them on new figures… You can hide the pins… its all in the superman video

A good question , however I don’t have either series …. You’ll need to see what peg is on the new body type and modify from there… it should work … you may need to fill the head with Apoxie and drill it out out or go with hot glue for a quick fix … Warm regards

It could but if the head can’t tilt back it would look worse… unless you switch the head for one with more mobility

There is no cavity unless it has an large emblem….there are no seams… it houses the shoulder socket… its a solid unit

Its not ML…. Those you almost need to destroy to open them to remove the arms…

@@InkDropCustoms Thanks for the reply! I want to install Light up eyes but I was banking on the upper torso being 2 hollow pieces. Riped Death metal superman's hair off and gave him actual hair and chains. I guess I will just try to hollow out enough space for the electronics. I cannot believe it is a solid piece though, it's so crazy. There is separate pieces for the arms and torso inside the chest cavity even though the chest cavity is solid

No, McFarlane changes the head according to the design of the character…. The current figures vary in design, height or size of the ball peg ….

Neck pegs on ML are large… you will need to drill out the head… caution as the base of the neck may have little material to drill out .. each figure is different…. It may also be too large for 6” figures…

Yes , that correct… they all differ… so parts are not always interchangeable…you have to choose the closest size or duplicate of what your working on… The design has changed so on some you can’t swap the torso

I want to re-cast belts, but I want it to be rubbery not resin based. Do you know what to use?

You’ll have to do a cast , a resin mold then cast in latex …. Long process

Same process…. Heat with a hair dryer and then gently pull If the peg is removed with the sculpt Repeat the process to the gently pull the peg with needle nose pliers

Yes , repeat the heat process… with your hand or pliers tug on the hand…. Many times the hand will also pull the peg…. Then just pull the out carefully… pliers can mark the surface so be cautious

Same process of heat applies….. depending on the figure … some have swivel others do not …. After applying heat , use pliers to gently pull the ball joints from the leg / the do the same to remove from the feet… Without swivel the peg goes straight in …. With swivel the peg goes in at an angle…. Pliers can mar the plastics… use caution Give yourself plenty of time …. Reinsert using the same method Warm Regards

Yes, depending on the paint brand- you can totally remove the paint or soften it that it comes off when reassembling

Use dry heat only after painting

I have that throughout the series of videos Basically heat with hairdryer, use a flat head screwdriver and pry gently just under the pins releasing one end and then pulling or pushing the pin thru To reinstall…..heat joint not pin….insert the pin and push through with a blunt object like dowel or the back end of the screwdriver It’s takes a bit of practice My last video on Jason Todd Robin has a clip on just same topic Thanks for watching

Unfortunately I have done that also…. The only way is rob another figure of similar or equivalent build…. So I tend to but loose figure for parts only…. A 3D printer would be nice but I’m not there yet

Heat the figures…you may need needle nose pliers to pull the peg… it’s in the video..

Those are tricky…. Heat with hairdryer…. Then use a small flathead screwdriver and pry gently…. Don’t pry the peg. Only the jointed limb .Should come apart easily-- depending on the joints… To reattach heat the limb not the peg…. Push in using a small smooth blunt object like a small dowel or the back handle of the screwdriver….. it’s tricky… it will slip … once installed,,, use a small set of pliers to bring both sides together…. Plies must be flat surface or place a cloth between the pliers and the peg…. Takes practice

Just heat , pull and you’ll see a large ball joint and socket

Same- repeat the process- but use caution as the pegs can still break while removing and replacing … best not as most have a ratchet system so sanding and painting is a lost effort- that depends on the figure
