In today's video, I am going to tell you ONE item that each villager likes. Many of these villagers and marriage candidates have many likes and dislikes, but in this video, I want to focus on ONE EASILY obtainable item that you can give them so you can raise their friendship level quickly. Most of them can be obtained from day one, but a few cannot. Also, most are just items that you can get, but a few of them are made from recipes that you have to cook... but on the plus side, they are all one ingredient recipes. SoS AWL is a remake of HM AWL. Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life.

very simple easy list to follow! also " hors d'oeuvres " is " or-derv " i feel like basically everyone knows what that is, but the spelling of the word, not so much haha. i remember back in the day playing the sims 2 on the PS2 cooking hors d'oeuvres but i had absolutely no idea what it was because i didn't recognize the spelling xD

I was not loving this game at first. For Story of Seasons, I have only played Olive Town and the two Doraemon games. Watching your videos today made me realize that I just wasn't getting how it is different and not that the game is bad. Just wanted to say thanks!

Thanks for leaving this comment! I think the game doesn't do the best job of putting its best foot forward. Tomorrow (or Friday at the latest) I'm going to be making a common mistakes video to help those struggling with the beginning. I hope you will enjoy the game more in the future!

Heya, I was wondering if you are still planning to make a video about a gift guide for the children? Just started SoS AWL yesterday and hearing about how the gifts may affect their career got me wanting to plan ahead 😅

I am just finishing up editing my video about common mistakes I see people making a lot in year one. I have always been thinking about what I should do to make a children career guide video. I think I might have to be break it down step by step because it's a lot, haha. Even the gifts the different children like is complicated because it changes year to year.

Would you recommend the original wonderful life or the remake? I could try any of them but I want the better experience and I have no trouble trying either since I’m also okay with outdated graphics

I think most gamers will prefer the remake. It has more content and quality of life updates. The only people who might prefer the original are people like games with that old school difficulty, as a few things are easier in the remake. For me, the original AWL was too slow, so I strongly prefer the remake.

Why does rock like fodder😂?Also I thought molly liked milk as well. I think they should of made the items for some of the marriage candidates harder to get instead of just flowers but I’m not really that bothered.

Haha, I don’t know! It’s very strange being that everything else that he likes is very high class.. Maybe it’s a joke that’s lost in translation. Or maybe a bug that they just decided to leave in, haha.

how do we get golden fishing rod from Van? i already have the sllver rod, but the golden doesn't show up on Van's list. does it need requirements to unlock?

You have to already have bought all previous fishing rods AND you have to fish at least 500 times.

I've a question about the friendship meter, it's blue on the left, yellow in the middle and red on the right, what does that represent, I've given some gifts they like but it stays in the middle and haven't given a few any gifts and it's either nearer the blue or red

The blue means they dislike you. That will only happen if you continuously give them gifts that they don’t like. The yellow is neutral. The red means they like you quite a bit. If you give villagers items that they like, their meter will go up, sometimes it’s just very slight. Give them gifts three days in a row and it should be visibly closer to the right side.

@@elithegaymer thank you :) I'm glad they included this meter guide, in the gamecube verson I relied on the head turn looking at you when you walk past them, that's probably why I struggled to get my son I to the careers I wanted..... Because my friendships influence wasn't high enough

Good luck! I actually never worked at Amazon though; it was my husband. He got several Prime shirts so he got some shirts in his size and mine. He recently switched to working at Pepsi now though.

Approximately how long should it take to have Daryl give the seed maker if you’re giving 2 fish almost every day (“almost” to make room for error)

It doesn’t take very long. Probably 5 days or so. You can get it by the end of Spring if your do things as fast as you can.

if you give 1 coin & 2 fish you can get it by 8th Spring. (even earlier than that, t really doesn't take that much)

Hii do you have any idea why the hell chris hasn't given me a new outfit even though i already befriended her? Like i REALLY want that cute green outfit but she just WON'T gave me the outfit, do i need to be at spesific year or location cuz it's driving me nuts😭

You can’t obtain it year one. The strategy guide says chapter two onwards. I think it’s a quest reward, so you go to the bulletin board and you’ll receive a quest from her (but it doesn’t have a time limit).

Also Chris gives you a brown sweater. The green one is obtained by doing achievements.

How do you unlock more cooking method?

Do you mean how do you get more recipes? You get recipes by making the dish yourself, getting them by talking to the sprites, or if a quest requires a cooked item it will teach you how to make that dish. However, you start out only being able to cook soups and salads. Each time you cook, your cooking skill will go up (BUT unfortunately it's a hidden mechanic so you can't check your level). Once you cook enough times, your cooking skill will improve and you can cook one more additional type of food.

It’s weird because he did accept b level milk from me, too. The guide doesn’t list it under his likes though, so I’m not sure if it’s maybe a neutral like for him? I think there might be (at least) three qualities of items (they like, they feel neutral towards, and things they don’t like).
