What an amazing and interesting idea for making a beautiful booklet for sharing with my nieces 😍!!! They usually enjoy make some crafts, so tomorrow we'll have a bingo picnic just for fun and I would like to have some journaling stuff ready to bring in there, so I can show them this video and make some booklets together. An idea to call attention to opening out the envelope to show the hidden journaling space would be to fold down the tip of the triangle flap. Love this little journal.💜🐞

Pam, I was doing good (my husband recently died), was happy and enjoying the video, until your honey popped in and you said, “honey, I’m doing a video” and it reminded me I will never be interrupted again while I’m crafting. This can be good, but also sad. So I’m glad your honey interrupts you still. Be grateful for small irritations is the watchword! ❤️

I love this idea, thanks! I just happen to have recently found a box of envelopes I had put away and forgotten, that apparently got the flaps all stuck, so not sure I can use those. Maybe add my own pockets to the inside? Hmm..I'll have to get crafty, and figure out something! Can't use them as envelopes anymore, dagnabbit! LOL! Please tell me I'm not the only one who puts things away, and forgets where I put them=forgets I have them, and goes out and buys more?

Absolutely NEVER thought of using the envelopes upside down and using the flaps as tucks OR of cutting off the ends to make more tuck spots. Thx Pam!

Very cute idea, Pam, thanks so much. I used your idea of spraying my stamp pads with a little water to juice them up and it worked wonders. One of my small Timmy pads and a gold pad I purchased at Michaels always seemed to be nearly dry although I bought both within the year. Not anymore! Re: Sunny... I wish we could see him walking around. I think your light is too bright for him, his eyes are usually closed or almost closed. He is a little doll! There he is in your Amazon box...

Love this! I grabbed some envelopes and went for it. So much fun! I tried just two, for now, to use as journal inserts. And covered the glue back of the flap with some paper strips, so humidity wouldn’t creep in, they were very inexpensive envelopes, sometimes rogue glue-age happens.

Pam, its always fun to here, "Honey, I'm doing a video." My granddaughter and I will be giving this booklet ago! But we will make a "c" shape bead of glue. The "u" shape does make a variation that can have top pockets. 😅

This is SUCH a cute idea. I so appreciate that you use simple, inexpensive materials. A person could also use the return mail envelopes from junk mail since the printed address is glued to the inside and then make a pretty decorative cover like you did for the front and back.
