I installed scaler and thought it was the shit for recognizing chords .. omfg, I have to go through ableton help file I guess :) - keep on loading these tips!

how do you use a midi keyboard and not know which key is which note?

Tbf a lot of us are like this, self taught by ear. I mean chances are very high that you have an advantage over us but this tip is gold for people like me that just play. I spent years just drawing in notes to make melodies and chord progressions so I know by pattern recognition if something sits in the scale or chord, but I dont when playing around on my keyboard

@@fffmpeg even if you know the notes of the piano keys it's helpful to be able to just play different combinations of notes and use a tool like this to see what the chords are
