How to quickly re-initialize your BMW sunroof if it has stopped opening, is stuck open, only opens partially or one-touch open/close has stopped working. This will fix most non-mechanical/electrical sunroof operation issues.

Bro, thank you so much, I had a problem on my BMW E60 and when I try closing it from the tilt position it would just bounce back. Resetting it, solved the issue. Thanks man!

Bro thank you so MUCH! this fixed my issue. My stupid sunroof went crazy in the drive-in car wash... I hit the Close button several time just to make sure it was properly closed but the bitch opened and got stuck 😭

My sunroof screen is still stuck, it will only go back a couple of inches.. After trying this, the sunroof glass itself opened and closed with the reset, but the shade liner stood closed.. Any tips????

I have a Mazda 3HB 2005 and it died. I opened it and now it won't close. Motor doesn't do anything. Just the clicking sound when I press the button. Do you think this process could work?
