I've turned my passion of golf into a full time job, and take great pride in helping every single one of my clients improve their golf game. For the last 6 years I have built up my own golf coaching and playing ability by caddying on the European and Challenge Tour, as well as working across different golf clubs in Europe. I use the same driver with +1.0D but leave the heavier weight directly behind the face to reduce spin. It seems like a happy recipe to take advantage of a slightly more closed face and a draw bias while reducing spin to still allow it some rollout.

Very nice Alex. Your an excellent teacher. I have a Ping G 410 S.F.T. driver and love it. I am a senior and not the fastest swing speed. Probably about 80 mph . I have it set at a 12 degree loft and its working great for me. I found with my golf swing that lowering my angle of attack helped me quite a bit. Great job here!! Trying to get with the times. Have a 12 yr old Tayler made fast burner and I hit it relatively straight for the most part. Got the Cobra King Speedzone 9 degree, which is adjustable. Let me tell you.. slice city like no tomorrow. Totally different than the Taylor made. I'm going to adjust to 10.5 tonight and shift the weights like Alex said. Hopefully this will give me confidence to use it, because I used it twice and put it away real fast. The burner has been my go to as a result.

I have the Taylormade Sim 2 Max. I had a power fade that faded into a banana slice and showed no signs of improving anytime soon. A stiffer shaft helped turn the banana ball back into power fade. I finally got out of my own way and gave in and adjusted my driver head 2 notches over to increased loft which closed the face at impact for me. I went from 220 to 253 off the tee box and maxed out at 265, higher flights, from hitting 3 fairways to 9 fairways, shots hitting the center of the face more and having more fun playing stress free golf. Also gaining more birdies off those pesky par 4s.

Hi Alex, I am still using this club but never messed with the settings so first of all I really appreciate this and all of your other videos.. very helpful! When changing the shaft I noticed on yours it made a clicking noise when tightened. Mine doesn’t seem to do the same but feels like I’m about to snap it. Worried it’s not on correctly? Can you confirm whether I’m doing it right, too tight/too loose etc…

Got mine set at 9 degrees heavier weight in the face than in the heel. I find it best for me because I hit a fade. Does make me hook the ball when I try hit a draw though. Flip the settings on the head for me if I want a draw. Highest lift weights in back

You could place the weight low and far back or set the driver to draw also

I’ve been playing this at a minus 1. Drives are no where near as far. All low bullets. I remember changing something to try it out last year. I’m going to give these settings a shot

Great video Alex👍never tried moving the weights on the f9 or lofting it up, hitting it well at the moment, will give it a go on the range on the next visit👍🐍⛳🚀🏌️‍♂️
