Its been said that Collins made those old mauls with "wear safety glasses" - I have the same maul and I love it. I split 3 cord of wood each year with one. Love them.

Just took apart an old double bladed axe that was doing the same thing. I like the little cross wedge you used. Had not experienced one used that way. Thank you!

That is a Collins "axe eye" splitting maul. They use alot of aluminum full size wedges in there tools. Nice Zero Tolerance knife btw, I love mine! 👍
