Finally someone did a flexi rod set WITHOUT blow drying the hair straight first. It came out very pretty.

Uhm i wanted to ask if you can use just curl creams to hold your curls in the flexi rod set or do you have to ise moose?....i love your curls by the eay ❤❤❤

Thank you so much! You can use curl cream too but it may not hold on to the flexi rods very well so using mousse together with the curl cream or the mousse by itself should work too.

My hair was wet so it stayed easier but if it’s blown out or straight I use extra mousse/cream on my ends to make it stay. Thank you for watching!

How do you store the curls for the next few days?

I usually just wear a silk bonnet to bed or put it in a loose bun and it will last about a week

Yes it usually last me a week or longer just depending on what products you use but gel will help the style stay longer

I wonder how I can do this...I want my roots straight So that they are more flat before putting Flexi rods But I can't figure out how to do it. Any suggestions from the gallery?

Hmm well you could try doing a blowout on your hair first or just get the flexi rods as close to the roots as possible without it hurting. I usually have a little texture at the top where my roots are anyway. It doesn’t matter too much if there’s texture because you have to pick the roots to get the flexi rod set to look good. Yes, I think it looks better when the roots aren’t frizzy. I find that to make the roots flat and straight is for the roots to be wet (not damp), add extra mousse (or gel) to the root. Start spiraling at the end of hair, twist it up all the way to the roots tightly. Keep the tension. Then curve the rod to sit on top of the root to keep it smooth. Sit under hooded dryer, or air dry all day, or overnight❤

How is it staying twisted to the ends?

It stays with the help of the hair product. If your applying product and it’s not staying on the roller detangle with a brush and add a little more product and it will stay.

I'm so mad I used flexi rods on my daughters 4c hair and left it in her hair for 2 days we took them down today and her curls did not look good like this ok back to the drawing board I'm gonna try your method wish me luck

Oh no! Thank you for sharing! You can keep trying and what I would probably suggest is blow drying or stretching her hair before you put in the rollers and also using a hair cream with mousse and hopefully that helps.💖

Make sure that your hair is completely detangles while your rolling the flexi rods around your hair and twist you roots before you put in the flexi rods too. Hope this helps
