The game sense you have to tell us to get 2 extra gout weed for the other quests is what makes me love this channel. Ran into 2 other guys at the maze who were both doing DS2 saying that it was their 3rd time doing this lmaooo.

Tip: when going to talk to eadger the first time if you speak with the troll cook on the way then you don't have to double back!

got all 3 gout weeds without fail if you wait for the troll to actually look like he is stepping off that tile. worked for me every time

13:55 for those who play on House Party worlds (W330) you can teleport home, use someone's fairy ring for a much faster trip back to the prison rack. This also saves you a ton on stam pots as you can sip ornate pools as you're headed to the ring.

Just to explain how absolutely awful I am at questing... I used Runescape item delivery service cc/ DeliverItems not once, but TWICE during this quest. I had given Eadgar all the items for the potion but I forgot to bring logs. I had already used my Home tele and minigame tele and had nothing to work with. I asked in the CC if I could get logs delivered to me. They showed up and got me the logs in probably about a minute and a half. This was amazing. I had nothing but the quest items and 120gp in my invy and that was all I could give him. He was extremely thankful and wished me luck on the quest. I was super excited to give Eadgar the regular logs. I was ready! I clicked on the guide and.. I NEED TO LIGHT A FIRE! I NEED MORE LOGS! So I use the DeliverItems CC Again and another guy took the offer even though I said I have no way to compensate. Showed up in around 2 minutes and I was FINALLY able to continue on with the quest. The only other time I had to use this CC was during ungerground pass because I had no teleports and forgot a spade. I just wanna magically turn logs into planks and I have to go through all this?

So if you want to save an inventory space and not take logs, you can use the fires by the trolls just west of Edgar to dry the thistle!

LMAO just found out by my lack of reading ingame dialog, you can completely skip the part about teleing out and going to ardy for the parrot by simply getting the parrot before going. I know because I neglected to start the quest. Got the part where you talk to Edgar and ask him what to do with it, he didn't say anything close to what he said in the video. TDIL : You don't need the quest for the Drunken Parrot used in Edgar's Ruse.

This quest was such a pain as a UIM without having access to stamina potions (or fairy rings yet). Finally finished it and got that coveted 11K herblore xp though.

Wow great guide. Did it probably as fast as you can after watching this and reading some comments. 3 big tips for a perfect run: 1. Get the parrot before starting the quest! 2. Talk to Burnt Meat before going to Eadgar the first time! 3. For getting gout weed, click as soon as you see the troll take the step to the next tile! Worked three times perfectly (Never did this quest before)

Tip for people doing this quest and have slayer rings unlocked... they are a better teleport than having to use fairy rings (Relekka Slayer Cave).

that moment u hate quests and want to do desert treasure: optional to safe massive time: - eadgars ruse optional to do it faster... agility 44 easy ardougne diary, but also need to do a quest before u can finish this biohazard and thats the reason i hate quests, u can't simply just do 1 quest nah u gotta do 10things before u can properly do 1

Plz take the 1.5 speed or 1.25 speed off your character. If we are trying to follow the quest, its hard when you're a mile up the road after we look away. Yea the video is shorter but it takes us twice as long to re-focus and catch up after you lost us in the dust with your 1.25 or 1.5 video speed. and you will get more seconds watched if you just do it at normal speed. PLZZZ WE LOVE YOU! I m sure the dis like are bc the video isn't sync with real gameplay!

As a new player you do not need to complete tour of lie to access the prison, it's 100% a reference point. I want my 20 mins back! j/k

Please keep your old guides up so low levels and ironmen can have an easier time following them.

for the storeroom part try to get to the far wall. i was able to chain all 3 in a row after about 3 failed attempts

so 2 mistakes i did while on the quest 1 i used the pineapple directly on the cage thingy ... withouth the vodka .. so gg had to go back g.e get somemore 2nd mistake i find the thistle light my fire and boom i forgot the pestle and mort :) amazing guide tho lol

At the beginning you can save some time by going directly to burnt meat first then edgar

idk if anyone will see this but you can get the parrot before the quest to save a trip. my dumbass never went to sanfew to start it and didn't realize until after the parrot going to edgar.
