So far, so GREAT with this device. I'm technical, but have never worked with car radios (mostly desktop computers, laptops, servers and networking equip), and the installation took me about an hour or so in my 2019 GLC 300 Coupe. One error in the video, however, with the sequence being flipped on two parts: the re-installation of the head/audio unit starts a bit early, at 4:11, which is suddenly back out again at 4:33. Skip from 4:11 to 4:33, then back to 4:11 at 5:50. The unit doesn't feel first party, but *very* close to it. CarPlay wasn't designed to require a touch screen, and Apple did a good job of creating a usable interface using the MB knob.

Thanks for the video, it looks pretty straight forward. Does this unit require the AUX port to be enabled on the headunit as a pre-requisite?

@@UNAVItech Sorry, not sure I understand your response. Are you saying that, if I don't have AUX enabled on my system, I won't have any audio when I switch to the OEM unit (for radio, phone calls, etc.)?

@@dariorodriguez2372 Hello, yes, AUX must be enabled for our system to work for sound. After enabled for the Mercedes under audio options where you select AM/FM, Sirius/XM etc, there is an option for AUX. Is only a T20 screwdriver enough to remove the center console cover and remove the OEM audio machine? Thanks

Does the phone call app in CarPlay work? If I have connected to carplay, should I disconnect the Bluetooth from OEM system? Thanks

Hi for the module it can go anywhere, where it can reach or fit inside. It can go on top of the glove box if you like as well
