I don’t like that the new one has far less details on it than the old one. You can see far more lines on the coat and the boots have different colors. But what i really don’t like is that new Gambit‘s coat just hangs down, like it’s frozen. The old one had a flow feeling to it and it looks better when you play it as a kid and it gives a certain effect to the moves you’re doing with it

Yeah man you got a point though. I think I’m going to start just spending the extra for the imports cause they always do great work on these characters. This is a great figure for kids. New collectors or passing collectors. Hope it calls more attention to toys and comics.

So there are some mods that make this figure a bit better but gotta be willing to get creative, all n all they should have put him on the new pinless articulated body like DP without a coat

got him yesterday and.....I did not have any gambit in my collection before and he wasn't one of my favorites but..... he caught me by the suprise actually and I really like this one for my X-men comic display. BUT my main question is....... would you like to get new wolverine? this one is definetly an upgrade. and he is well perfect, cause I didn't have any complainings. pinless, cool heads, fists, hands with claws, butterfly joints...... This one should meet your expectations I guess.......

I'd like a pin-less Gambit with a removable jacket that has butterfly shoulder joints and a diaphragm cut! Oooh, maybe on the newer Spider-Man figure!!!

Very much a case of form vs function. I personally like the look of this figure WAY more than my Mafex Gambit, but it obviously can’t come close to touching its articulation. There’s room for both in my collection

Mafex is alright, jacket is too bulky and figure scales kinda small for legends, and that price , forget about it lol. Still waiting on a solid gambit, maybe one day 🙏

I have the Marvel Select Gambit and Rogue. Early on i couldn't decide which scale i liked and now i have a mash up of different sized xmen characters 😩 if i didnt have that one this would be a good option. I like his hair.

The best ML Gambit is the Training Uniform Gambit from the 3-pack. Can't beat that head sculpt.

I used to have a gambit figure when I was a kid that had so many movable joints! It was cool I never had it with his jacket on though. Anybody got any ideas what figure that could be?

I prefer the retrocarded Gambit and the 3 Pack Gambit, this new one has that plasticky feel and look..just my humble opinion

How do you feel about the Mezco Gambit. I'm not even a Gambit fan but I love the Mezco version. Easily some of the best head sculpts they've ever done

The face looks better. But man that solid trench coat really makes me hesitant to get it.

The Uncanny cardback Gambit is better than this version. They are similar, but the head, boots, and jacket color are slightly different. IMO, Uncanny cardback is better figure. Accessories are almost identical.

I love this Gambits head sculpt, jacket and playing cards but I feel like the entire 97’ line should be pinless! Why NOT Hasbro? Please explain why you keep going backwards?
