The animation of Adon punching in the background is absolutely breathtaking.

This and NeoGeo Battle Colosseum both came out during a time fighting games where in a really low point, but for my money NGBCs a little better.

the worst crimes this game commits are: 1.having no universal artstyle. It's just a clusterfuck of graphics, even worse than MvC2. 2. having no universal gameplay style. The sf2 characters are basically fucked because every other character roster has more options. 3. having really shitty soundfiles. Everything sounds generic as hell. 4. wanting money for this shit. Seriously, this game is just mugen.

To the people who disliked the Capcom Fighting All Stars test build, this game is dedicated to you and your efforts to bash that game to the point that they scrapped it and gave us this

I'll give Capcom this. Fighting Evolution is actually a great idea. For as much as I love Smash Bros, it's a very nontraditional fighter, and while that is fun, I'd really like to see Capcom take another shot at Fighting Evolution. Bring back the Grooves from CVS2, bring back the cast of this game but with more characters and stages. Then about a year or two later, release Capcom Fighting Evolution 2: Arcade Championship Turbo Remix Edition.

Haha, I remember loving this game when I was younger. Then a couple years back I picked it back up and plugged it into my xbox and went: "Huh... Why does Jedah look like a cartoon next to this freaking dinosaur?" I could only stomach like 15 minutes of game play before I had to shut it off. I knew then that I was just an oblivious kid at the time. This game is mediocre at best unacceptable, lazy mish-mash at worst. The worst part is it made me question whether my Soul Calibur 2 was really good or if it was just nostalgia. Of course I soon learned that I was wrong to question that because SC2 is still the bomb lol.

I suspect either the Darkstalkers or Red Earth are mad top tiers... DS guys have chains, EX moves and OTG's RE got air block, wakeup roll, OTG's and super jumps

Did anyone else think the SF3/3S characters felt friggin' AWFUL in this game? Like the move timings, animations, everything was just "slippery" and off?

In my opinion, I still believe this game was fun and challenging for a few reasons: The game is called "Capcom Fighting Evolution" for a reason; because its showing all of Capcoms greatest fighting games across the board as if you see how Capcoms fighting games evolved. Not to mention that you get to use these characters exactly the way you play them from their own games which makes it more challenging. While the game doesn't have grooves or isms, that's what makes it more challenging; It takes away all the crazy options that people can come up with and tone it down to a point to test the player and see if he/she can do well in that specific style a lone. While it doesn't suit everyone's taste, I still think this was a good idea. At the same time, we're dealing with Max and his friends here in this video. To them, if games like this doesnt have a ton of diversity in it in terms of styles or grooves, well its not a ton of fun to them, which is understandable to an extent. But thats just what I think : /

actually had my first try of this a couple of weeks ago as i was making a super explosion finish compilation ....and i really did not think much of this game ...it is not terrible it is just meh

I still consider guy final fight not alpha. This game is kickass. If the issue people have with this game is that the Fighting roster consists mainly of street fighter then that shouldn't of came to a supprise. That's like capcoms main fighter. They could of thrown more final fight (side scroller beat em up not necessarily side by side fighter) but that doesn't make the game any less playable and for the outlay I don't really have a problem with it .

Ya know, I usually like Shinkiro's work, but I'm just not feelin' Shinkiro Jedah. Just isn't angular enough for me. Man, I WISH we'd get a DMC with Jedah as the main bad guy.

The guys of darkstalkers, they have the same problem as morrigan in capcom vs snk. I think jedah is the better looking sprite....but Dimitri.......

This game is pretty much street fighter vs darkstalkers. The only things I liked about this game is the soundtrack and the in-game hit effects. Other than that, this game sucked :(
